Clean room, great location

Stayed while attending a wedding in the Gold Coast. Very close to Pacific Fair Mall for last minute outfit finishing touches and maicures etc. Very close to a lovely beach and cute cafes. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Montego Sands is in a quiet side street and only a hundred metres or so from the beach. There is underground parking in a designated bay and both the wi-fi and cable TV were good. The swimming pool was small and looked unappealing. The rooms are spacious and although a bit tired looking they are comfortable enough.

Close to the beach though as mentioned in the ad, one CANNOT get a look at the water from the property.

The property was in a great location but the fold out couch so uncomfortable it couldn’t be slept on. Another unit had someone hammering for quite a length of time. There was no plug for the bathroom or kitchen sinks.

Dated and noisy.

I used to enjoy staying here as it is small and cozy but the construction of a huge skyscraper next door not only had created noise issues but also blocks the sun. I stayed in 2 different apartments and both needed updating. Bedside lamps that wee filthy and falling apart is not acceptable at the prices which have doubled. Regretfully I will be looking elsewhere next year.

The unit was very clean and tidy. The beds were so comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. Lillian made it so easy for us and was so helpful and friendly in all of our communication. The pool looked lovely but we just did not get a chance to use it. Had an allocated parking space in secure parking. Thank you for a great stay.
