Sub-penthouse apartment: Amazing view. Washing machine ordinary but fine for holiday use. Spacious, with a variety of books and games, we were also happy to find a decent vacuum cleaner in the laundry. Couches are quite comfortable, beach and restaurants an easy walk away. The complex’s pool, spa and table tennis were a perfect consolation for us during the unusually rainy weather we experienced (when the ocean was a no go with young children). The reception staff were also friendly and helpful.

Excellent self contained unit in a fabulous location. Absolute beachfront with direct access to Kirra Beach. A bit noisy from very early in the morning with local traffic but no complaints

Lovely and friendly staff. Excellent location, next to the beach and near 2 great surf clubs. Fantastic pool and spa (heated). The sauna was great too. The spacious and modern 2 bed apartment was perfect for 3 people also, with a washer, dryer, Fridge/freezer and dishwasher too.

Top Spot

It was a pleasure to stay here. The pool was used twice a day everyday especially with the granddaughters, as was the tennis court. Beach is just across the road and so are eateries and pubs. So close to everything. The only suggestion I would make is that the cleaners clean the ceiling fans and sliding doors as they were a little grubby. We will stay here again.

No blankets then supplied old dirty blanket Manager rude abrasive ruined stay and left early. Manager won’t answer Wotif calls so no refund with 3 nights left on stay. Shower in ensuite floods told to use other shower.Had 2 guys in hoodies appear on balcony early morning and frightened me. Manager had no compassion said it was posted all over website. Which it wasn’t only painting being done and pool no to be used. Claimed work was on Wotif and wasn’t. Was told what do you expect when you pay a cheap price and they can afford to rent out at that price. Have had many great stays over last 10 years but won’t return.
Shower glass doors not cleaned properly so much soap scum.

Certainly not my favourite

View was good from 8th floor and location ok but parts of the unit need a deep clean (mould in both washbasin plug holes and around most of the windows) and built up grime in corners. Also badly in need of an upgrade all over. Very disappointed.

We booked in for a deluxe family room but didn’t quite get the full ocean view as compared to the advertised photo. It was okay. The property looked a bit tired and old, needs uplifting and extra cleaning as it wasn’t up to standards. Dusts accumulated on the windows, cabinets, etc. The bed was comfortable though and amenities is fine.

Views, glorious views from this spacious unit

We booked Meridian for the views, and we got it in spades! Glorious 180 degree views of the coastline (north, east, south) and additional views of the hinterland from every room and the wrap-around balcony. We were in a 1 BR unit but there may have been an additional BR behind a locked door. The living area was spacious with modern furnishings and the well-equipped kitchen looked pretty new. The bathroom (en-suite to the bedroom) was old but functional, and there was rust around the door frame which a coat of paint could fix - but you don’t spend much time in the bathroom anyway. There is direct access by lift to the secure basement carpark.

Staff was rude, dishes stained and dirty, bathrooms not very clean. Sliding door was very hard to open, one didn't lock. fans dusty and air conditioning, for the cost of the property it was not worth the money. main receptionist was rude and not helpful in anyway. Lounge was smelly and needs replacing.

I choose the Two bed room deluxe ocean view room but when arrived it was completely different to the photos. Our apartment was on the side and you could only see the ocean just. Also the description said there would be air conditioning in the bed room but there wasn't. So I complained to hotels.com and they did not help at all, I finally got to upgrade my room to the superior ocean view room. Hotels.com staff then lied to me and told me they will not charge for an extra bed but they did charge me for an extra bed and $100 for this for one night. Hotel.com site says around $35 (even peak season) difference per night with a Two bed room deluxe ocean view room and a superior ocean view room. They also charge for your beach towels as well -$5

This property is absolutely beautiful. Huge, beautifully fitted out with everything you could need or want. The owners have made an effort to provide some luxury. Views over the beach were lovely and it is within walking distance of lots of cafes, restaurants, etc. The walking path along the beach and around to Coolangatta was great.
