Fantastic

Wonderful setting for the beach huts. Everything done to the highest standard. Well equipped rooms, very modern lovely feel to them. Beautiful set in wonderful gardens, a little oasis. Just 5 min walk from the most gorgeous beach. 1 night was not enough!!!

Fabulous beach hut.

What a lovely place to stay. Each hut is roomy with a car port for your car. There is a tennis court, family eating room with bbq, dvds to borrow and the rooms have everything you need including breakfast food items. We had a little garden, bbq & a washing line as well as outdoor furniture. The bathroom had a spa bath and shower. In the kitchen was toaster, microwave & kettle. The best touch was a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge.

Our Portsea Beach Hut was perfect for two people plus a single bed suitable for a child or another adult if you don't mind sharing the same room. The bathroom is spacious & includes a spa bath. The kitchen has a Panasonic Inverter Microwave. The outdoor area is very private & has a Weber Q. What you can't find in the kitchen is available in the shared 'Town Hall' complete with oven/cooktop, large fridge & all cooking & eating needs. Recreation area includes tennis court & lawn area for bocce/petanque. Five mins. walk to beach & a short drive to Goolwa, Port Elliot & Victor Harbor. Highly recommended but book early.

A spotty stay

A repeat visit to the beautiful property with warm welcome by pleasant receptionist. The stay was great except our young daughter woke up with spots all over her face and body after the first night, and more spots after subsequent nap on the same bed. We later realised they might be bed bug bites. Unfortunately, our second night stay was not very comfortable as we did not want to take the risk to sleep on the same bed again and slept on the lounge. Feedback was given to the reception person upon check-out, and the bite marks were shown, and it appeared this is not of a concern.
