We had a brilliant time at Villa Mirjana, the host Matko was excellent and nothing was a problem. He arranged transfers, taxis and day trips which was so helpful. Matko and his team were fantastic at looking after us during our stay.

It was really nice. Great location with loads of character. Quiet. Well stocked with essentials. Great small private garden. We would go again!

Stanic is a good base for exploring Split, without being in the hussle and bustle of town. About 15 mins walk to old town and beach (with a dogey knee). Found the place spotless and everything we needed. The host, Tonci welcomed us to the apartment and was available for anything we needed during our stay.

From first booking to end of holiday communication with the owners was excellent. On our arrival, Damir was waiting for us to hand over key and give us a few pointers regarding facilities. The property was immaculate and we instantly felt very comfortable and at home. There was air con in every room, the beds were comfortable and the sauna was great. all amenities worked perfectly. The pool was fantastic and very clean. The property is very private and peaceful with views of the mountains. Damir and Christina are perfect hosts and really care about your holiday. We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend this property.

This property is even nicer than the photos show. It was impeccably clean, with lots of thoughtful extras. Our hosts were next door but did not intrude at all, but they did leave some gifts of local fruits, treats and homemade wine. A car is necessary for this stay. You are not far from Omis, Split, Trogir. We did rafting down the Cetina River and an exhillarating speedboat trip for the '5 Islands Trip' and would recommend both. This is a beautiful place to stay, with the kindest hosts. and a wonderful location. My family with 3 teenagers loved it. Thank you Marinka and family. T

What a wonderful week we have just enjoyed at this villa. Where to start! Thank you to Tamara for offering such a fabulous property for rental. We loved every minute. Divided into an upstairs apartment and two downstairs apartments, the house also boasts a fantastic outside living area which runs along outside the downstairs apartment – sofas, flat screen TV, dining table/chairs and fully equipped kitchen. The perfect place to congregate – in fact, we spent a great deal of time in that area and used that kitchen fully. The pool is gorgeous – well maintained and heated. The cover works really well and, when shut at night, becomes part of the outside living space (underwater lights for evening swims!). The apartments themselves are well furnished and nicely laid out, and then the upstairs balcony makes a super place for a morning coffee. The property is toward the end of a quiet coastal road so many opportunities to pull up and drop in the sea for a dip. The house itself is then just a minute from that coast road so a very short walk down to the sea. We would note that the lead up to the house is single car width with a couple of right angle turns between houses, so people carrier length cars take care. We very much enjoyed Ciovo island too. Slatine is quiet, with a couple of sea-side bars and a couple of excellent restaurants. We found that perfect. Trogir is just a fifteen minute drive back along the coast road – easy to park and fabulous place to visit (and have dinner)

This villa is amazing! We absolutely loved staying here, it was a perfect property for our group holiday (ladies aged 49-55). The room sizes are very spacious, decor is lovely and fresh, it is spotlessly clean and was well equipped to meet all our needs. On the upper floor each bedroom has access to a balcony. Downstairs kitchen and living area are open plan and is also to a very high standard. We loved relaxing in the spacious outdoor seating area which overlooks the well kept pool and garden area. Henry and his wife were so very helpful with everything , personalising our trip celebrating friends birthdays, arranging airport transfers, booking activities in advance and giving restaurant recommendations. They were super helpful and friendly and kept in contact from time of booking and throughout our stay, we couldn’t have asked for more…they were wonderful. The villa location is peaceful, yet only 50metres to a well stocked supermarket. 5-10 minute walk to the sea front, 20 minutes walk into Stobrec where we enjoyed paddleboarding with Adriatic SUP. Uber into Split took around 15 minutes. Overall this property everything we could have wanted and more! We would all come back here without hesitation and can highly recommend it in every way. Property was fab. It’s a house split into 3 sections for guests on the ground floor, relatives in the middle and the owners live at the top. Pool and terrace are reserved for the guests during their stay. The area has lots of development going on. It’s about 15 minutes to walk into Stobrec which is nice for a coffee or lunch. The bus into Split goes from the main road at the bottom of the hill fairly regularly (24/25/26 or 60). Apartment was clean although the dishwasher was a bit hit and miss, because the electric goes off when you leave the building so best to put this on overnight because it takes 3 hours. All the rooms have en-suite and air con and there is a gym room, pool and pool table. BBQ was a bit faffy to use because we couldn’t get the grill high enough off the coals to use it. Kitchen is well equipped with glasses and small cups. We ended up buying some larger mugs and leaving them in the cupboard because a nice big cup of coffee in the morning is always a winner. Fridge freezer is a great size and dispenses cold tap water and ice which was welcome on the hot days. There are laundry and drying facilities but no detergent so would recommend getting some of this in if you intend to do a spot of washing or cleaning towels. We did end up with a random old lady in our room one night - some of our group were on the terrace playing pool and she managed to let herself in through the back door when nobody was looking. Bit odd but she was harmless enough and we showed her out. Parking is available and free to use. There is recycling 20m away and a bar not much further on. Supermarket is also close on foot (5 minute walk). Kamen itself is residential so I’d recommend staying if you have a car to get yourself about, or don’t mind a few buses for day trips. Only thing I could really suggest as an improvement is an extra key because when you’re travelling as a group if you want to go and do different things for the day then you had to either hide the key fob somewhere or arrange to meet up somewhere instead. A key drop for departure would also be helpful to save Lydia having to get up at 6am to see us off :) Overall a very lovely stay and would very much recommend the accommodation! 5***** Friendly, polite and welcoming. Just be sure to make sure the area suits your needs for your trip :)
