New Preston cottages

This is a charming house situated in a beautiful area. The owner, Al, was very helpful and suggested some interesting places to visit. The weather meant we spent rather more time in the house than we had hoped, but this was not a problem in such a comfortable house. When the sun was shining, a short walk down to the lakeside enabled us to sit on the deck and enjoy the superb views across the lake. You should do the drive around Lake Waramaug. We can also recommend Kent Village (useful for shopping). Kent Falls State Park provides a short walk to scenic waterfalls. The village of West Cornwall and its covered bridge and Litchfield which is a beautiful New England town.
