Maentwrog cottages

Outstandingly beautiful place to stay, high in the hills, with just the sound of sheep bleating. The accommodation was exactly as listed and was finished to the highest standard, with everything you could possibly need. The host was lovely and very knowledgeable. I felt very safe as a lone traveller.

Fantastic cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Very clean. Located in a beautiful village with all amenities and great links to buses/trains and outdoor adventures as-well as picturesque walks of varying difficulties right on your door step. This is the third time we have visited the property and every time we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had an amazing stay for Christmas, the cottage was beautifully decorated with Christmas music playing on our arrival. It had everything we needed for a family of four and is in a beautiful location for beach and hill walk, and Gary was on hand of we needed anything We would definitely visit again.

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay in this cleverly extended, lovingly cared for and uncluttered cottage. Warm, comfortable and well equipped. Despite being close to the main road it is peaceful and in earshot of the river. Arriving after dark, we needed help with directions (coming from the Dolgellau side / South).

We were totally impressed with the superb cottage & even more so with the host —Gary ! He was charming , courteous & very helpful . (Not forgetting cute little Misty , the dog ! ) As we are both totally deaf , we appreciated his patience with us in communicating…& he was easy to Lip read ! Thanks a lot Gary ..you made our holiday !
