Marie and Bruno made us so welcome from the minute we arrived. Their house, the apartment , the pool and grounds are all beautiful. It was like visiting old friends but with our own accommodation. The kitchen had everything you could want - maybe an extra 2 tea cups for les anglais! - and the whole decor was just to our taste. Bruno recommended restaurants in Saintes, a town which is really worth exploring. The loveliest beach was La Grande Côte, park at the far end of Palais sur mer in the free car park. There is a restaurant overlooking the beach which had a good menu du jour with stunning views. Please note, the beds are 140cm, not queen size, just for information.

the property was in a very good location. Nathalie was very welcoming and helpful. We were very comfortable at the property with plenty of pleasant cycle rides around the area. the garden was a pleasure to sit in.

We came for a week in July. The gite was as described. We were welcome to use the washing machine - which was useful. The pool is small - ideal for a quick dip to cool down, or for small kids. There are lots of mosquitoes - we got a lot of bites. With hindsight, would have taken anti-mossie stuff. 🤷‍♀️

We had a fantastic holiday in Lusnac. The property was well maintained, and in an ideal location with easy access to Saintes, the coast, La Rochelle and Royen. Claude and Bruno were excellent hosts, who were so helpful and friendly.

An absolutely beautiful gite and location, set on the edge of a little village in an idyllic rural setting.  This was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives and enjoy a peaceful break relaxing in the lovely garden or as a base for exploring the many things to see and do in this stunning area of France.  Fabienne was the perfect host - a great balance of being there if we needed her but also respecting our privacy.  The gite had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and clean.  This has been a very chilled 2 weeks indeed! Sabrina and Nicholas could not have been more helpful. We felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect venue for holidaying with small children as the grounds were so safe. We could open the door in the morning and let them play, without fear. The pool was safely secured which was wonderful. We will definitely be booking again for Summer 2025.

Its small but has everything you need. It is very peaceful and the sundeck is lovely for relaxing in sun or shade. The hosts were very welcoming and very friendly. We both slept better here than we have slept for years. Simply put its gorgeous.
