Fabulous Gite in a lovely location. Great private pool. Charming building with great history.

The location in beautiful scenery and variety of activities made our holiday very enjoyable. We loved proximity of the river where we did fishing, kayaking and SUPing. The cottage had all we could expect for the price range. Helpful hosts.

Arlette made us very welcome with some very helpful emails before we arrived, and waiting for us in the gite were some delightful biscuits, cake, fruit tart, fresh juice, and fresh flowers - a nice touch. The gite itself is gorgeous! It has clearly been converted from its original use to a gite to a very high standard, and with great style. The bed is the most comfortable (and biggest) that we have ever found in France, and the modern bathroom is very well appointed. The kitchen, though small, is extremely well equipped, so was perfect for our stay. Outside is a tidy garden with sun loungers, and table and chairs. The village itself is really pretty, and there are two excellent restaurants and a tapas bar literally on the doorstep. Au Fil des Saisons serves pretty stunning food (80 euros for two including a lovely bottle of wine), and The Chalet crêperie serves excellent galettes and crêpes at a very reasonable price (38 Euros for two including wine) but you should reserve a table for both as they are popular. There are supermarkets, bakeries etc, either 3 or 6 miles away, and Pontivy and Josselin are pretty close for days out. We feel very lucky to have found this gem, and hope to return before too long.

We are a large family group and this venue was perfect in giving us all our own space but also some excellent communal spaces to come together. The pool and outside space was excellent and there was nothing else we needed in the house - everything has been thought about and provided and Sebastien was on hand for anything we needed too. Warm welcome from the owners, a lovely little cottage in a quiet haven. We only stayed two nights but loved it.

If you want a quite and relaxing break, then this is the place to stay, beautiful barn conversion, spotlessly clean, lovely quite area. my wife and I have stayed in many apartments, villas throughout Europe and this has to be one of the best, and as for the owners Laurie & Anne, you could wish for better hosts, if you need anything or wanted to go to any places of interest then these are the guys to ask, We will be certainly be going back.
