A hidden gem - both the area and also the property. Both were excellent. Wendy was a brilliant host - the daily WhatsApp with events and local information were very welcome, the property was lovely, the pool was perfect and TBH I can’t think of any areas for improvement. Definitely value for money and we will be back. Thanks to Wendy and her family - superb

After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. Lee & Karl are great guys who are very sociable and a good laugh. We will definitely be returning!

We have really enjoyed our week's stay at Gites de Cognac. Located among the beautiful vineyards and only 15 minutes away from Cognac centre, we were pleasantly surprised how well looked after the place was. The pool was great and we enjoyed it for couple of days only due to weather not being so warm but it was to be expected this time of the year. Laban and his wife were really welcoming and gave us some recommendations as well as provided all needed essentials for our baby. Overall the property has been great and we had a really enjoyable stay! We would definitely recommend to our friends and family

we stayed 3 nights, every aspect was perfect from organising and preparing for the stay, to the gite, location and facilities. 5-stars!

The cottage was a lovely place to stay. The property was very quiet and presented exactly as the listing described. We had everything we required and everything was clean and tidy. The pool area was lovely. There wasnt really anything in the village but the nearest town was only 10 or so minutes away. There was a supermarket and petrol station and a market. Was definitely somewhere i could return too. The hosts were lovely as well and sorted any small problems we had quickly. All in all would definitely recommend for a family holiday

Thank-you. We enjoyed your gite so much. Quiet, tucked away location but easy to find up a long tree lined drive. We travelled a lot from this location close to Cognac and Saintes and always enjoyed the quiet when we returned. Historic building and main manor house felt special. Our hosts were very kind. Special touch home made galette and fresh cut flowers for us when we got there. Thank-you so much again. Shaune and David
