The serenity of Sea Lavender is captivating. The cottage is furnished perfectly with all the updated appliances and finishes. Bright and sophisticated charm. Owner David was gracious and attentive to any need, question we had. He even checks on your return home. We will be back.

We stayed in this wonderful cottage during the first week of October. The only regret we have is that we didn't get to stay longer. The house is very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Very nice kitchen with all the stuff one needs. BEAUTIFUL surroundings and during our week 99,99% of the time perfect peace and quiet. And I mean perfect. Spectacular foliage on the trees along the lake, very good crying of the loons. Hunting ospreys, bald eagles and northern harriers. Thoroughly enjoyed kayaking the lake and had some breathtaking close encounters with the loons who didn't seem to mind us being that close. Bought pies from Moody's Diner and introduced them to student life in Boston. Amazed by the giant pumpkins in Damariscotta. Had some brilliant walks on several Damariscotta River Association lands. We simply had a glorious week. Thanks to Natalie and her Little Thumb. Thank you.
