Manerbe cottages

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful property, would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere relaxing in a beautiful location.

We have just returned from a week stay and I can honestly say, this property is breathtaking! The house, the pool, the grounds - it’s absolutely lovely. We were a family of 7 with different aged children and there is so much to do and see. A highlight with kids was the nearby lake ‘ Le Lac’ only a 6 minute drive where we did water sports such as inflatables and paddle boards. Deauville is only 25 minutes and needs a day to explore as it’s absolutely gorgeous. Most importantly the host Laurent was on hand, very communicative and gave us great recommendations You must eat at La Galerie which is a stroll from the house and serves beautiful French cuisine. We’ll definitely return!

Thank you to Edouard who welcomed us to his holiday home. It was in a very peaceful area. It was lovely to observe the cows everyday. Lots of boulangeries available in lots of villages. House was very homely and pool was fantastic. Garden was beautiful and beds comfortable. Lots of castles to visit nearby. Really enjoyed our holiday here.

La Mountiniere is a beautiful property, really well equipped with everything you could need for a break in Normandy and exactly as described in the listing. The pool is lovely and was very well used by the kids. The adults enjoyed the pétanque court, and comfy outdoor seating for sunny evenings and BBQs. The interior is also very comfortably furnished if the weather doesn’t play ball! Manerbe is a great base for exploring the area with lots of facilities at Lisieux including tennis courts and go karting also nearby, as well as lots of historical and cultural days out (there is loads of information about the area provided in the house which is a lovely touch). Catherine is a great host, all of the instructions and communications were very clear and easy to follow. She even left some local produce and Normandy cidre in the fridge for us. We had no issues or complaints at all throughout the stay.

We stayed in the cottage named Bergerie, which was absolutely fantastic in terms of its aesthetics, facilities, location, and above all, its fantastic host, Manon. Such a beautifully clean and decorated cottage, which reflects Manon's eye for detail and desire to make the guests most welcome. Super location for touring the Pays D'Auge, with closeness to Lisieux, Pont L' Eveque, together with being a stones throw from the beautiful coastal locations of Deauville, and Honfluer. Well recommend Le Nid De Merle for vacations. We would certainly consider coming here again.

We loved staying here. The house was lovely and well equipped. However, the really big positives for us were the setting of the house and the helpfulness of the host. The house is set in a lovely green landscape with great views out in all directions. The garden was a brilliant size and the area for boules was amazing. Florent, the host, was fantastic and very easy to talk to. He was helpful and was very good to us. Overall, an excellent place to stay and somewhere we’d love to return to in the future.

we stopped there one night for a wedding . charming traditional independent house in a beautiful landscape , with all modern appliances . super clean, very professional and nice and warm host . All good !
