Rochebrune cottages

Gite was as discribed in the initial booking. Owners, all though there was a language issue we managed to communicate when needed. We didn't see too much of them which was a good thing. The only issue we had was the incline to the property from the car park to the cottage and then to the pool. My wife who has mobility issues could not manage to make the steps up to the very nice pool ares. Perhaps this is something that could be added to the initial discription. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay, we would return...

Beautiful location, peaceful but near enough to town. Gite has everything we needed

The main impression was of good quality provision.The gite was equipped as for a home rather than a brief holiday stay.There are two patios on either side of the building so you can follow the sun from breakfast round to dinner! We received a warm welcome from Muriel and Marie who were attentive but discreet throughout our stay. The property is very clean, bright and comfortable and fitted out to a very high standard throughout. The living area opens out onto a patio for al fresco dining, overlooking the pool and beautifully maintained garden, with flower beds and mature trees. There are seats, loungers and a hammock situated in various places around the garden and pool. The property is very conveniently located for nearby Malaucéne, Vaison la Romaine, Mont Ventoux and the Côtes du Rhone vineyards. All in all, a beautiful place. Highly recommended.

Hosts were invisible but very helpful. Beautiful garden with lovely cool river at end of garden for strolling and bathing. Perfect for a couple. Quaint village with Saturday market. Stunning scenery . Down side was there needed to be some comfy seating in kitchen not just upstairs in bedroom/lounge. Otherwise we had a perfect stay and did not want to leave.

The cottage was absolutely charming - built from stone yet fully equipped with all the comforts such as comfy beds, great barbecue and other good cooking facilities, plus plenty of perfect spots to relax indoors or out. For those seeking peace and quiet in a rural setting it would be perfect. Lots of great walks, beautiful villages, meandering rivers and nearby attractions including Vaison la Romaine, Avignon, Orange and of course Mont Ventoux. We stayed a week, wish it was more, and have no hesitation in recommending to others seeking the best of rural Provence.
