Reddick cottages

Pelican cottage was fantastic. Very tranquil and great to see the horses, chickens and of course the adorable dogs. Everything was as described with comfortable indoor seating and efficient A/C. Pool was a very pleasant escape from the summer heat. Plenty shade areas beside the pool and the gas grill was great. Kitchen was simple but perfectly adequate and well equipped. Excellent communications with owners in advance to allow a very late arrival (11.30pm). Instructions given, doors open and lights on. Max and Anne were very friendly but gave us plenty privacy. Easy access to interstate 75 (10 minutes). Grocery stores nearby. We visited several state parks and saw lots of wildlife: Silver Springs, Rainbow Springs, De Leon and a local historic site (author). Worth a detour to the historic town of Micanopy. Absolutely no negatives and would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
