Askam and Ireleth cottages

We spent a weekend here to visit the south Lake District area. This is a beautiful house with a stunning shared garden.Check in process involved speaking to the owner Beverley. Parking can be tight - we managed to find street parking nearby most of the time although we did have to stop at the pub car park nearby while waiting for a parking space.Kitchen facilities were good.

What a beautiful place. Quirky, modern, warm, comfy. Fabulous surroundings. In the middle of the south nature reserve on Walney. Weather was fab. Lovely places to walk. Seals and birds everywhere. Would reccomend

The lodge was amazing and had everything you needed, plus more. The surroundings were wonderful and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, two minutes from the beach and local amenities, property clean and modern, very comfortable with everything provided. A lovely welcome basket and fresh flowers in the vase. We visit Haverigg a lot but this was the best accommodation that we have stayed at. Thank you to the owner Catherine

We arrived at Harbour View on Friday afternoon to an amazing sunny bright blue sky. We woke up on Saturday morning to thick thick snow!! The cottage was simply perfect, the village and residents were absolutely amazing, most of us were snowed in but everyone rallied around to get things moving. The Ski Bar was a welcome warm hub and the Sunday roast there was amazing. A memorable stay in Harbour View Haverigg, we will definately be back next summer to enjoy the walks/surroundings without the snow. Peter and Jeanette Liverpool

Had a wonderful stay at the Wayside. The cottage was perfect, had everything we needed and even wood for us to have a fire. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The hosts are very helpful. I would recommend this place.

On newish estate, thought would be noisy but very quiet. Good location for local walks and the town.
