no negatives at all.....perfect from the first contact to the last

The house is perfect, we absolutely loved our time there and there really isn’t any detail about the house or outside areas that we would’ve changed. It’s the perfect size for two people, the kitchen is so well equipped (and bigger than it looks in the photos) and the hot tub and outdoor fireplace add a special touch. The location of the house is great, just a few minutes walk from Lower State St, the funk zone and the beach. There are fantastic restaurants, bars and shops just a short walk away in any direction you choose to head in from the front door. Debbie and Jim are the kindest and most helpful hosts we’ve ever had on our travels, no problem is too big or small for them to fix. For example, I noticed there was no kettle in the house to make tea, so we mentioned it to Debbie and within a day she brought us a brand new kettle - problem solved! We wanted to go to the beach but didn’t have an umbrella for shade, we asked Debbie and again within a few hours we had a beach umbrella. They really do go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. While we were staying there was some construction noise from a project happening opposite the house but that is the only even slightly negative thing we could say (and obviously that’s out of Debbie & Jim’s control). But I think if you’re out enjoying beautiful Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas on your trip, it wouldn’t be a big issue at all.

Fantastic place to stay with our 3 year old within 5 minutes stroll of a surprisingly quiet sandy beach. Walking distance to the zoo, excellent shop and trolley stop. Well equipped kitchen, BBQ in a quiet garden with comfortable seating. 2 good size bedrooms and several options for extra temporary beds. Very communicative and helpful owner put my mind at rest after the Montecito mud slide (neighbourhood was unaffected). Would love to come back.
