Everything about this house is exceptional. Josete was brilliant from booking through to after we left. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he responded immediately to requests. The accommodation is immaculate. The furnishings and décor are beautiful, and we appreciated the art on the walls. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed. There were plentiful books, TVs, games and music equipment to keep everyone entertained. The bedrooms were comfortable and cool even in the heat of summer. The terraces are excellent, and especially useful was the outside shower and hose for cleaning surfboards and wetsuits. The check in process was made easy by Josete’s helpful communication. We had a wonderful stay here, enjoying the peaceful neighbourhood and the sounds of the sea from our bedroom. This is an idyllic house in an idyllic location. We barely used our car, and explored San Vicente on foot. It would be an excellent base for exploring the Picos and Cantabria. We have been staying in Northern Spain every summer since 2018 and renting self-catering accommodation in Italy, France, and the UK for twenty-five years. This is the best place we have ever stayed.

The house is lovely, very clean and well equipped. It is in a great location with an easy 10 minute stroll into town. You can walk to the beach - which we did. The town and beach are lovely. Rikke is lovely, very helpful and welcoming - would thoroughly recommend. We loved our stay.

This property was a fantastic base to explore Comillas and the surrounding areas of Cantabria. You can be on the beach or in the centre of town in 5 minutes. The property itself has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. The garden has a good outside eating area and a lovely view of the sea and port. Our children (12 & 9) loved the swimming pool and the underground car parking was a brilliant facility. The owner has been extremely helpful both before and during our stay. Thank you

This is one of the best rentals you will ever stay in. A magnificent sunrise every morning, a surfing beach with shallow water all the way out so safe for little kids in the water, looking over the beach from the patio and a 100 yard walk down on to the beach. The property is clean, spacious, and brilliantly located. Quiet at night, bathrooms everywhere and a great hot outside shower for after the beach. We drove 20 minutes to kayak on the river cena one day, we headed into the picos and did a 5 hour walk from the fuente de cable car in a day, and if you run out of basics, the campsite nearby has a small but useful supermarket. Wonderful stay, and fantastic location. Great kitchen. Perfect for a family with young or old kids. Only thing it does not have is wi-Fi... by the end of the week we decided this was a good thing, not a bad thing! Oh, and the sea temperature? Like a warm bath. Stay here and have no regrets. Comfortable and spacious for two of us (over 50s). 10 minute walk from Gaudi’s “El Capricho” - a must visit. Handy for large, clean, sandy beach - 20 minutes walk. Overlooks popular square with many cafes but can be made quiet. Recently finished and well equipped. Nice outdoor terrace with comfortable garden furniture. Helpful and welcoming hosts.
