Had a brilliant stay at this property. Roger was so helpful and informative couldn’t have done enough. The house had everything we needed and more would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable. Glad we were no more than 4 adults as there is only one bathroom. We booked through vrbo but then ended up dealing with an outfit called Sykes Cottages who ended up charging us more (not a lot more but more than the ad quoted) and they were a nightmare to deal with. Their intervention felt like a scam. Luckily our stay was enjoyable but Sykes should be avoided.

Vey impressed for the location and the apartment was very clean nice big rooms nice kitchen and bathroom and with private parking and last the management was very helpful

Property Had everything you needed and all appliances in kitchen where easy to use which was good. Plenty of space and bedrooms where of a good size, especially bedroom with ensuite. very quiet considering it is located on a working farm. Our stay was in November so that may be why? Didn't hear any RAF activity either, maybe we where just lucky? York City is only 20 minutes away and we used park and ride at Askham bar as it had good opening hours. We had a lovely stay and we didn't do half as much as we thought we'd do in York so good excuse to come back again. We can highly recommend 1 Pines farm cottage for a short/long stay for York and surrounding attractions in the area.

Had a great time staying at the cottage with my partner, very well kept place in a great location, had no issues at all.

This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views.

Very clean and nice, quiet area 10/10 I'll come back for sure.
