Holiday rentals near Loch nan Lochan

I booked this last year after finding it through browsing for wildlife holidays, we decided to take a late break last November to check its suitability, we were totally blown away with the abundance of wildlife not only at the property but the surrounding area on both occasions. Although midgies were more of an issue in June, it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time.

We had a very good week at Sea Breeze, on arrival there was a welcome hamper including a homemade fresh cream and strawberry victoria sponge and a bottle of wine.Every evening we were visited by at least one pine martin and one or two badgers. There were hundreds of birds feasting on the feeders in the back garden, also deer front and back of the house. The only disappointment was that we did not see any of the sea life while there, ie. seals/ otters etc. We would certainly return in the future , where else can you get stared at by a pine martin only six feet away?!!

We have just had the most magnificent holiday thanks to Lesley and Daniel's attentiveness, the Chapel holiday home, its location, (the weather) and their attention to family friendly details. This was a perfect find for our family!A really great living and kitchen area, much bigger than expected from the photographs, with some great little additions and some incredibly stunning views in all directions.The bedrooms and beds were really comfortable and felt premium. Really helpful having the additional camp / put-you-up bed in the twin room for all our children to sleep comfortably together. Family friendly details like night light, toilet seat and stall, and plastic cutlery etc are all very well thought out. The washer dryer combo is very handy indeed, particularly as a family.Amazing location. Brilliantly attentive and caring hosts. The fire pit was a great detail particularly for those marshmallow evenings.The property is an absolutely fantastic base for easy connecting routes to some truly remarkable breathtaking and remote areas of the Highlands.Fantastic local amenities and locations e.g. shop, post office, park for children, the loch and pier, Ardtoe beach, and local castle ruin. Sadly we didn't get to try the local café or restaurant, but hopefully next time!Really good communication before, during, and after our stay.We visited lots of places within a maximum of an hours drive from the lovely base, too many to mention.It was perfect for us, thank you.

We booked here for our ruby anniversary as we honeymooned here 40 years ago…it did not disappoint just exactly how we remember stunning views even with the weather not being great. Perfect log cabin spacious and very comfortable.Thank you

Cottage is just perfect with everything you may need including fantastic garden. We had an amazing week exploring the area, been lucky with the weather allowing us to see breathtaking views wherever we went. Seen and heard deer every day, large window in the living area is perfect for wildlife watching. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Extra bonus was an aurora show on the last night of our stay. We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to the Tower but not to Ardnamurchan. Everything about it was perfect, except that on this occasion our stay wasn’t long enough! Very welcoming owners, everything spotless and beautifully decorated, and even a sunny balcony with view to Loch Sunart over the tree tops. Loads to do in the area so the Tower is a perfect base.

Couldn't have been better. House had everything we needed for our week exploring the area. Hot tub on a starry night was a great bonus. Our dog enjoyed exploring the secure garden. We will be back.

A lovely house in a brilliant location away from the crowds and with lots to do and see. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Hosts were unobtrusive but always available. Highly recommended.
