Il Corbezzolo is a beautiful stone barn, recently renovated, located in the characteristic Borgo di Mummialla, a few kilometers from S. Gimignano. The Borgo, also mentioned in the fifteenth-century maps of Leonardo da Vinci with the name "Mummilla", preserves the traces of an ancient Roman thermal settlement with a sulphurous spring still active and today in the reactivation project.
Spending a holiday in this place means immersing yourself in a dimension of peace and relaxation surrounded only by vegetation and the sounds of nature.
Il Corbezzolo is the ideal place for an unforgettable holiday where nature, culture, history and cuisine meet in the heart of Tuscany.
The barn is immersed in the woods and surrounded by a large private garden with attention to the smallest details where you can relax, surrounded by unspoiled nature. The house was renovated using recycled materials from the Borgo excavations; the exterior is totally in stone, with exposed brick and inside there are typical Tuscan oak and chestnut beams.
The house furnished in typical Tuscan style consists of a comfortable double bedroom with large walk-in closet, a living room with double sofa bed, a large open space kitchen with fireplace and a bathroom with shower. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a free wi-fi line.
Outside the house there is a barbecue and you can take advantage of the garden furniture for breakfast, lunch or dinner in absolute tranquility. A small vegetable garden attached to the house will allow you to savor our genuine vegetables that you can harvest at your convenience.
For guests of the Borgo there is exclusive access to the wonderful biodesign swimming pool, with whirlpool area and splendid views of the Etruscan city of Volterra.
A large free parking area near the barn will allow you to park your car comfortably.
