Casa IL FICO is a magic combination of ancient village charm, amazing nature around and modern comfort. It placed in a reconstructed from ruins village with its authentic ancient buildings and original designed swimming-pool.
Apartment is for 2-3 persons consists of bedroom with double-sized bed, living room with comfortable sofa transformable to adding wide bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Windows of apartment are turned on a fantastic view of Tuscany and it's spectacular hills, on which famous Volterra could be observed in the distance.
Guests of the Casa IL FICO can use a private small terrace outside placed under the brunches of fig-tree. That terrace is an ideal place either for an early morning hot cup of coffee or for an evening spending of leisure time catching the sounds of nature and admire the twinkling lights of distant Volterra.
Our guests also are encouraged to use and enjoy a large swimming pool with aqua massage area. Pool is made in the attractive design and looks like a part of a large lake.
The apartment is recreated in authentic Tuscany style with usage of natural, organic ingredients and materials such as wood, terracotta, natural stones and others. Matching of traditional interior and modern facilities creates a comfortable atmosphere allowing to enjoy every bit of guest staying in Casa IL FICO. Such facilities include automatic climate control, washing machine, dish washer, TV, Wi-Fi. Beautiful wood stove combined with a gas stove and electric oven with grill. In cold days the wood-burning stove can create a special comfort and worm.

Perfect apartment in beautiful location. Stunning pool with vieews across to Volterra. Minor problem with the plumbing that was sorted out immediately. Apartment is bigger than the photos suggest - the ceiling is at least 10 feet high. Aparfment very well equipped.

Belle semaine en toscane

Appartement dans un petit hameau tout bien rénové. Très bien situe entre Florence et Sienne. Plein d info utiles du propriétaire et bien accueilli par Olga. Comme de nombreuses routes en toscane le dernier kilomètre n est pas goudronné. Tres belle vue. Pas une super isolation sonore entre les appartements, reveil variable en fonction de nos voisins... Beau séjour.

Wunderschöner Ort zum erholen, wir waren in der Vorsaison da, nur wenig andere Urlaubsgäste anwesend. Es war eine traumhafte Ruhe, das Schwimmbad ein herrlicher Ort zum entspannen. Es liegt etwas abseits was seinen Charme für uns besonders ausgemacht hat.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie kleine Cafés sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.Unsere Wohnung war liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Erholsamer Urlaub in der Toskana

Romantisches Feriendorf in der Toskana über einen Schotterweg zu erreichen. Der Check-in,Dank der sehr hilfsbereiten Olga, lief reibungslos. Das Apartment ist geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem und wir konnten während unseres dreiwöchigen Urlaubs sehr gut schlafen. Gerne haben wir unsere Zeit auf der kleinen Terrasse unter dem Feigenbaum verbracht. Traumhafter Natursteinpool mit Blick in die toskanische Landschaft. Ein Traum zu jeder Tageszeit. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Restaurants. Wir können das Apartment wärmstens weiter empfehlen und ein zweiter Urlaub in diesem Objekt ist nicht ausgeschlossen. Vielen lieben Dank und schöne Grüße von Nicole und René aus Berlin.

Fijn en super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien was het huisje.

De weg ca 2km naar de locatie is onverhard en vol met kuilen. Niet fijn om over te rijden. In de 2 weken dat wij er waren ging de conditie van de weg steeds verder achteruit.

Super zum Entspannen

Eine super gemütliche Ferienwohnung zum Entspannen. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und nur über eine ca. 1,5km lange (aber gut befahrbare) Schotterstraße zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants nur mit dem Auto (ca. 10-15 Minuten) zu erreichen, Die Wohnung selbst ist voll ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Terrasse unter dem Feigenbaum ist super, um den ganzen Tag dort zu sitzen, da der Baum den ganzen Tag Schatten spendet. Der Pool in der Anlage ist absolut traumhaft und von der Aussicht her unschlagbar. Die Kommunikation mit Olga lief auch immer problemlos und sehr schnell. Auch bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen wurde sofort geholfen. Die zwei Wochen waren viel zu schnell um und wir hätten hier problemlos noch weitere zwei Wochen verweilen können. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wunderschönes Gegend und nettes Personal

Wir hatten eine Woche hier verbracht und wegen eigenen Gesundheitsproblemen müssten wir diesen Ort früher verlassen. Es ist echt schade, dass wir nicht länger als geplant bleiben konnten. Uns gefiel die wunderschöne Landschaft in der Gegend und der Pool mit dem schönen Blick auf die Toskana-Landschaft. Die Ruhe der Lage und der schöne Landhausstil, saubere Wohnung, gut eingerichtet. Besonders dankbar sind wir für die Hilfe bei der Arzt-Suche. Es ist auch ein großes Plus dass die Ansprechpartner über WhatsApp und E-Mails jederzeit erreichbar sind. Herzlichen Dank! Tolle Location zum Ausspannen und Zentral zu den meisten Ausflugszielen

Tolle Locaton, Zum Ausspannen bestens geeignet, da 5 km von der nächsten Asphaltierten Straße. Hin führt eine gut befahrbare Schoterstrasse . Der Pool ist traumhaft gelegen. Auf der anderen Seite ist der Ort Zentral zu San Gimignano in ca 15 km Nähe, Florenz, Pisa, Lucca .

Heerlijk verblijf in Toscane!

Het appartement ligt in een opgeknapt dorp genaamd Mommialla en ziet er prachtig en goed onderhouden uit. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het heeft een mooie keuken en woonkamer en een lekker bed in de slaapkamer. Er is een groot gemeenschappelijk zwembad met een infinity edge. Het enige nadeel is dat het prachtige uitzicht wat geblokkeerd wordt door boompjes, vanuit het zwembad kan je het dus niet goed zien. Verder is het zwembad van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft iedereen zijn eigen bedjes. Het zwembad is nagebootst van een meer en heeft daarom een mooi aanzicht. Vanaf het terrein kan je mooi over de toscaanse heuvels kijken en het privé terrasje heeft comfortabele stoelen en wat bescherming van de zon door een houten boog. San gimignano en Volterra zijn dichtbij Mommialla en waren onze favoriet om te bezoeken. Al met al hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad met prachtig uitzicht en leuk contact met andere huurders op het terrein. We zouden heel graag nog eens terugkomen!

Beautiful apartment

We’ve had a lovely stay at the borgo and we were taken care of very well. Easy communication and even though there are a lot of rules due to COVID-19 we really enjoyed. Apartment is very new and the view is incredible. Pool is just as great as the pictures. Thank you, we will want to go back!

Over the top!

This was our 2nd visit to this property and it did not disappoint. All the charm we had remembered from previous time was still there- bar a little hiccup in the weather on the first week - no one could do anything about that. Quiet surroundings, beautiful views, comfortable accommodation and a lovely pool. Altogether wonderful though definitely not the place for anyone with walking difficulties ( which we did not have) !! Splendid restaurant up the road at Il Castagno.

A beautiful and comfortable place

"Casa il Fico" is a very nice and cozy apartment. It is beautifully and comfortably furnished and equipped, exactly as described on the website. There are neighbouring apartments on both sides and above. On our arrival it was spotlessly clean with a bottle of wine as a welcome present, a nice touch. We were welcomed by Olga who showed us around and explained everything. She was very helpful and friendly, a true gem. Mommialla offers amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. The location is very convenient to visit the region, a car is indispensable. There is a rental agreement for the guests of Borgo Mommialla / “Casa il Fico” with 11 rules. The disappointing fact was that except us and our neighbours no one followed these rules. After informing Galina, the owner, she took care of it with the management and the situation changed for the better. Galina was very supportive and always very friendly and helpful by all means. Thank you!

We love all Tuskany but when we found tis place, we realized that this is the best from what we have seen before. We bought 2 appartments an now we are happy to share our joy real Tuscany with our guests

What makes this property unique

Our appartment is in a real ancient village accurate with love rebuilt in details from ruins. Appartment made in Tuscan style which we love. And all this combined with a comfortable modern equipment. For example there is excellent morden-equipped pool in borgo but it designed as a pease of large lake.

It very attractive for us that our Casa is placed among wildlife area. We like that the air is filled with the scent of flowers herbs. And we very like absolute silence at night which can be broken only by sounds of nature.

When we stay we travel a lot around by car because there are many interesting places are not far from us.
We really get each time full relax hear combined with new impressions.
