Our second time here and we adore the property. Lovely interiors, well equipped, Lauren is really helpful and Blockley is a lovely quiet village with some great pubs and restos.
We greatly enjoyed our one week stay in Blockley in this comfortable, quiet and well-appointed house. The host was extremely helpful and provided excellent detailed information regarding the area. The location was perfect for us; each day we drove on the scenic lanes on short day trips (less than 25 minutes each way) to visit and explore the nearby sites. We went to bakeries, tea rooms, shops, museums, historic sites, and took easy scenic countryside walks, and admired all of the beautiful and picturesque Cotswold stone buildings and pastures and farms in and around the nearby scenic Cotswolds villages (including Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Lower and Upper Slaughter, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Chipping Campden), and visited beautiful gardens and manor houses (including Sezincote, Hidcote and Snowshill).
A beautiful and cosy cottage, perfect for a restorative break in the Cotswolds in November. The village is a gem and the owner was very helpful in suggested some wonderful places to visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Lovely cottage. Very roomy for us. 3 adults and two teenagers. Ample kitchen space and good beds. They had a little trouble with temp controls and the towel warmers came on some mornings and not others but a great location, a lovely pup across the street and easy access to all the favorite towns without all the hubbub. Lovely little trails and paths by beautiful streams. Be certain to walk around to visit the village mules. ( and take carrots!) would definitely stay there again.
A gorgeous cottage, perfectly positioned for our Cotswold stay with EVERYTHING you could possibly wish for. Hosts were exceptional at communicating, a lovely welcome package was a nice touch, beds super comfy with nice bedding, I soaked in the freestanding bath every night, we lit a fire on more than one occasion and sat out in the garden. Wonderful views and a short walk to the local shop and cafe, and opposite a pub! What more could you wish for?!We’ll be back!
Our stay was peaceful and lovely. Lauren went above and beyond to welcome us, and share great information about the area. Loved the cafe down the street, a great place and location for exploring!
This charming cottage in the Cotswolds was absolutely wonderful. Clean and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The beds were all very comfortable and the location serene and peaceful. Great location to see the popular villages in the Cotswolds as well as easy parking. We loved our time there.
Great little village in the Cotswolds. Cottage was well stocked and extremely comfortable. Short walk to pub and cafe. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!
Blockely is a beautiful, quiet little town and the pub across the street made for a perfect place for our family to land at the end of every day. The cottage was perfect, and there was a lovely little welcome gift awaiting us. We enjoyed every second!
Beautiful Cotswold cottage! Perfect place to stay. Well equipped, perfect location, very comfortable and luxurious for a family of 6 with teenager's and grandparents to accommodate. Lauren was excellent at communicating, and we all wished our stay could have been longer. Thanks for the welcome gifts and the chance to stay in your lovely house.
I’m a picky traveler and this was hands down my favorite Vrbo we have ever rented. The town is adorable with the cutest cafe and I liked that the town wasn’t super busy. The accommodations are high end and felt like a hotel and really thoughtful. Such quaintness with luxury. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had a wonderful week in Blockley. The cottage was so comfortable with every amenity we needed. The village was great with an excellent pub, a village shop and a cafe with a terrific chef. There were lovely walks and it was a great location for our day trips out and about.
An idyllic location and superbly furnished property
This is a wonderful cottage in a charming village with a lovely pub across the road and excellent accomodation for a stay in the area. We particularly appreciated the kitchen, multiple sitting areas, outdoor spaces, and bathrooms. Communications were flawless.
A quiet country cottage in a quaint small village was everything we hoped for. Great host and great home. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice home without the tourist crowds but close enough to drive to all the beauty the Cotswold offer.
Lovely cottage with everything you need to enjoy your Cotswolds adventure! Blockley was a charming village to use as a home base for our explorations. The house was perfectly appointed for our family, we cooked a few meals, and really relaxed for a few days during our vacation. Would definitely return, if we are ever in the area!

We enjoyed our stay. Lauren was wonderful to deal with. Kitchen was well supplied. Lauren left us a splendid basket of goodies too! Great division for two couples too! Thank you Lauren! We enjoyed our stay-
Our family stayed 5 nights at Lauren’s property. The accommodations and layout of the property were perfect for our 1 year, 3 year old, my husband and I, plus grandparents. There was a welcome basket from Lauren when we arrived. The property is walking distance to several trails and a local pub. We also loved the outdoor garden and table.Thank you Lauren for your hospitality and a wonderful stay!
The property in Blockley was quite nice. Location was perfect for short walks to the pub and the Blockley Cafe. Beds, bathrooms kitchen and lounge area are perfect for living spaces… we had an issue with the heating, but used the wood stove to keep us cozy warm.
