You’ll love the spacious and private San Moritz Guest House. Floor Layout provided in Photo Roll.
The space features a large open floor plan upstairs with hand hewn timbers stretching across the vaulted ceiling with the Kitchen and Dining Area opening up to the Living Room. Plenty of Windows with a south facing exposure mean great light all year. The Living Room opens to a deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and views of Gibson Ridge. The Wood paneled accent walls bring the mountain vibe together.

1st Bedroom - Queen Size Bed on the 1st Floor. Ceiling Fan installed and Smart HD TV w/ DirecTV service incl. DVR. The bedroom window faces the south towards the aspen treed front yard of the property and pine forested Gibsons Ridge. Equipped with blackout shades to allow you to sleep in on your getaway.
2nd Bedroom - Twin over Full Bunk-Bed, Built In Shelves near the bed for your devices and night time books. Also on the 1st Floor. This room also has a foldaway twin if needed. The space also features blackout shades for those that like to take it slow in the mornings. Dresser is bolted to wall for safety with kiddos. No TV ;)
3rd Bedroom - Queen Size Bed, Nightstands, TV (w DirecTV and DVR) located on the 2nd floor off the living room. Small Deck directly off this space and it's great to open the door during nice temps and let the mountain air in. 32" HD TV w DirecTV Service and DVR. This space was originally built as an in-law suite and the space has vaulted ceilings. Bedroom space opens up to sink, countertop, and fridge. This space has its own private 3/4 bath.
Upstairs Living Space: Kitchen - The Kitchen is fully equipped. As frequent travelers ourselves, we know how disappointing it can be to work in a kitchen that isn't fully equipped and we have put thought and effort into making sure you will have what you need - including the 20 spice rack, nice pans, mixing bowls, and a slow cooker, and 3 ways to make coffee. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances including a gas range for the discerning chef. You'll enjoy cooking in this mountain getaway for breakfasts before a big day on the mountain and on the nights you aren't enjoying the fantastic offerings in town. Includes a Breakfast Bar that seats 4 comfortably and can fit up to 6 (This is in addition to eat in kitchen dining area).
Living Room - The Living Room features comfortable firm couch and ottoman. The 47 inch Smart HDTV is serviced by over 160+ channels (including all the HGTV and Sport Channels). Plug in your Netflix Credentials and enjoy the streaming service during your getaway!
Dining Area - The Dining Area is just off the Kitchen and largely shares that space. The table is kept to accommodate 6 but can be extended with the built in table leaf to seat 8 comfortably. We have chairs/stools for 8.
Half Bath on this level to service this living space.
Radiant in-floor heating provides nice, comfortable heat during winter days and cold nights.
Entryway/1st Level: The large entryway has plenty of space to hang coats, hats, gloves, and gear (... and benches to help with getting it all on). There is also a coat closet. Full Bath with Laundry are also on the first level.
A second outside entrance is also present and also features a small laundry washer and dryer as well. This was the separate entry for the In-Law Suite which was necessary before the two sides were combined.
The property is serviced by a tankless water heater and there is always hot water. Pack light and do laundry during your stay with a starter set of detergent provided.
Summer Amenities: As seasons permit - We provide 2 Townie Bikes to cruise around town and we also provide a propane grill and picnic table out front to enjoy your restful days and stargazing evenings.
The bikes and outside tables are put in storage November - April and are brought out once the weather allows.

Very welcoming and the home was in very good condition. Our only complain was that the left unit was quite chilly during our winter stay. An electric base board heater in the bathroom and bedroom space would solve the problem. House is in a great location
It was a wonderful stay. Great location with close access to the bus to the mountain and town for restaurants and shopping.
The well stocked house is beautiful with a terrific layout.

We loved our stay at this property. This was a repeat from last year and hope to stay there again next year. Nick is great to deal with and the home is beautiful.
Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the open space and easy access to downtown. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and spices. The beds were cozy and warm! We will definitely be back!!
Great property that is very convenient to get to slopes with a few minute walk to free town shuttle. Easy walk into town and nice secluded spot on the outskirts of town. Open expansive living/dining area along nicely laid out kitchen. Really enjoyed the property and the host is very responsive to requests.
We loved our stay here. The property was clean and conveniently located to the restaurants on Elk. However, it's tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac making this a peaceful retreat.

So happy we chose to stay here! Great location, quiet street and neighbors. The layout worked well with our group; grandparents upstairs in the smaller suite, with the parents and kid downstairs. Well stocked kitchen and games, etc. Will definitely stay here again!

Property worked very well for our family of four and it was great that the owner allowed us to leave our bags on the day of departure until 4 pm. Nice and quiet!
We moved to Colorado in 2008 and have never looked back. We love the mountains and everything they offer to enjoy nature. We enjoy hiking, skiing, fly fishing, and landscape photography... anything that gets us outside.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Crested Butte during a ski vacation 10 years ago. The town is charming and the food is second to none. The unassuming nature of this dense, historical town in one of the most picturesque settings in the United States was impossible not to fall in love with.
The property is 2 blocks from the restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques that Elk Street has to offer. Even in a town as dense as Crested Butte - this is extremely close. That said - it is on a dead end quiet street on the south west edge of town with views of the forested Gibon's Ridge. It is the best of both worlds in the beautiful town that is Crested Butte!
What makes this property unique
This property is a unique combination in that it is In Town within close walking proximity to Elk Ave but on a secluded local traffic only street with forest views. The nicely tree'd lot creates an enchanting setting. We come here and truly get away from the hustle and bustle in a gorgeous setting. It is everything we were looking for.
