Great location and all the amenities you need. The house was very well furnished and the kitchen was very functional. Close to walk into town with less than one block away to the free shuttle to the ski area. The Gas cafe was perfect for the take out bfast sandies. This is perfect.....
We spent Christmas week in Crested Butte. The property was conveniently located in town and bus stop. The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view of the mountain. Short walk to downtown
The property was a perfect distance from downtown and running/walking/biking trails. We loved the hot tub and sauna! We had a great stay!
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This house is in a perfect location! You can walk to town. The house is VERY well equipped. The spice rack alone was impressive. The outdoor area is nice. You may want to bring a camp chair to take to the outdoor concerts or sit on the back deck. Nicole was great to work with. Very responsive. I would choose this place again.
The perfect place to stay for a small group ski trip. Easy access to shuttle to the mountain and easy access to town. Nicole was super responsive -- thanks for a great visit!
I highly recommend staying at this cottage. It’s really beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location is perfect, a short walk to town. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
The cottage is an easy walk to elk Avenue and 1 block to the bus stop for the ride to the mountain.
Very responsive host to our questions and concerns. I would stay here again. Highly recommend.
This house was perfect for our stay!! It is just one block away from the free bus that takes you right up to the ski mountain, which made getting to/from the slopes super easy. It is also just a few blocks off main street which was perfect for enjoying the town and going out at night. The house itself was cute and clean. Great living area for everyone to hang out and be together. We would definitely book this place again!
We had such a great time at this property, the hot tub was such a wonderful perk as well. There is a little loft up a ladder that my kiddos loved to play in, and we enjoyed sitting in the sun outside as well. Everything was very clean, kitchen was stocked with whatever you may need for cooking, including spices and such. 10 minute walk to town which was also nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Nicole was a wonderful host! We will be back!
Great location in downtown. Well equipped. Owner has done a nice job with indoor and outdoor amenities. This a duplex, and we occupied one side. We slept five comfortably. Efficient use of space. We liked it and would rent again. Owner very responsive to any needs which is a real plus.
We felt at home! 5 adult family members enjoyed the way the house was built and decorated. Then we all appreciated how the warm and cozy den was set up for lingering around the table after dinner or the fire place for mornings coffee. The hot tub was put to use every afternoon. The location in a quiet neighborhood is close enough to all the action downtown. In a word, perfect!

Great location. Very nice clean place.
This house is in a wonderful location. It is a very comfortable place to be. The house is very nice. I cooked several times and didn’t find the kitchen to be as well stocked as some other places we have stayed. In the end with fees, cleaning and taxes, we paid 520 a night so would have expected the kitchen to have everything. In spite of that we loved our trip and the place.

Thank you Suzanne,
Please let me know if anything is missing during your stay, and I will buy it instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked, Including items beyond what one would normally expect, such as a juicer, Kitchen Aid food processor, all dinnerware for 16, etc. Please feel free to contact me for more details.
Warmly,
Nicole
Property was great and as advertised. Only issues encountered were the hot tub didn't fully get warm until the last day and the lack of AC made the inside temps, especially upstairs, very hot at night to sleep. Need to provide more box fans.

Hi Lee, thank you for the feedback. :)
As listed in the ad, there are only 2 homes in CB with AC. We only hit 90 for 1-2 weeks a year, and those temps drop every evening to the 50s and 60s. We have never had 100 deg weather here. Google states average July temps as 75 high and 39 low. Next time, please reach out if you need anything. There are 3 box fans and 3 smaller fans accessible in the laundry closet. The hot tub works great. You just needed to turn it on from the box on the back of the house, which was explained to you when you asked on day two of your trip. Please do reach out to me next time. I am available 24/7 and always happy to help you find things and accommodate any concerns you may have while they happen.
Best wishes :)

Very clean and enjoyable!
Nicole's Cabin is fabulous! Very clean and the pictures posted are accurate. She was prompt to email me back regarding the questions I had. Staying here really added to our overall experience at Crested Butte.
The only negative is that there is not really a dog fence. There is line to tie your dog up, but know that for being a dog friendly place there is not an enclosed "dog yard."

Great, cozy location close to downtown and ski bus!
Nicole's Cottage was perfect for our stay! The cottage is modern and decorated really well, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed, the beds were REALLY comfortable, bathrooms were great and the location was amazing...easy walking distance to Elk Avenue and literally just a block from the Ski bus pick up.
The only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the main living area was a lot smaller than what it looks in the photos. Also, showers had to be QUICK or the hot water begins to run out after 10 minutes. Lastly, the cottage is not a stand alone building...it is connected to another unit...and I felt the photos of the outside were a little misleading.
But overall great, still highly recommended and the check in and out was so easy!

Thanks for the feedback Tammy :) The previous guests turned the water heater down. It has been turned back up, so long hot showers are back. The photos of the outside show both front doors and the backyard areas. The building is a duplex with one shared double firewall. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. :)

Nicole

Great location and Property, but lacked details.
We liked the rental, had a great location and was nice inside. Also great that we could bring our dogs. However, there were a few problems. When we arrived, the hot tub was filthy and had to be drained. It was ready by our last night there and we were refunded some money for not being able to use it, but we would of liked to use it our first two nights. The Dishwasher does not work well because the soap dispenser is non functioning so it doesn't clean dishes well. The sauna was non operational. Also, there was no soap in the showers. Finally, the grill was buried in snow, but we got around this by using the neighbors grill.
Again, good place, but lacked attention to detail that would have made it five stars.

Thank you Dustin,
Honestly, I have gotten all positive reviews and excellent comments about the decor, comfort, and all amenity details of our Cottage. Many guests return year to year and state they love that it has every kitchen item they need. We give notice in the rental agreement the hot tub may be out of service one day weekly for routine maintenance. As mentioned, the hot tub was taken care of immediately and available the next day for use. I gave a refund based on one day without using the hot tub. We purchased a new dishwasher. The old one broke while this guest was there. The sauna works perfectly. The sauna is electrically inferred, and this guest did not plug it in. Please call me with any questions.
Warmly,
Nicole

Plenty of beds, good shuttle transportation to ski hill
The Good:
Lots of beds. We slept 6 adults, 2 youngsters, and had room to sleep at least 3 more adults in the loft upstairs. Would be great if the kids were old enough to make it up the treacherous ladder to get to the loft. Teenagers/older kids would love it up there.
Kitchen has very good stove and oven, all modern. However, there is very little room in the kitchen for more than 1 person. 2 people max for any kind of effective cooking and cleaning.
Building was very warm, and the tiles are heated. Took a while to figure out the 'right' temperature. Solid construction throughout means you don't hear your roommates walking around upstairs (but you do hear the next-door neighbors loud voices occasionally).
Location is close to Elk Ave for restaurants, and very close to the shell gas station where you can catch a shuttle.
We enjoyed the living room space, it was comfy, albeit seating is a bit awkward. It's not a large space, as the kitchen bar and cabinets take up a large space, but it works fine.
The Bad:
Shared hot tub required negotiating hot-tub time with next-door-unit guests (same building, different house).
Because the hot tub is not located directly behind the next-door unit and not _this_ unit, needed to climb over 6 feet of snow to get to the hot tub. Only to be an issue during large snow falls.
Kitchen was missing some basic tools like wine opener and dish washer liquid. Few other things that I cannot recall at the moment.
Overall:
It's a nice place and we enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.
Would stay again, but should be able to find a cheaper option with similar amenities if looking early enough.

Hi Adam, thank you for the feedback. Kitchen items are continuously going missing and being replaced. After this review, I checked the house and found the wine opener and the regular dish soap ready to go. The hot tub is not shared with the next-door neighbors. This home has its own private hot tub. This year (2017) was the biggest snow year in over 15 years. The entire town was buried with nowhere to displace the snow. Snow up to the roof lines. We were barely able to keep open access to the hot tub. In February, we had to close the hot tub due to 10 ft of snow burying the hot tub and the first-story windows. It was a crazy year. There was no way around it, and it was an epic fun winter. :-)
