Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again.

Cozy Christmas Cottage

We had a wonderful Christmas break at Shippon Cottage. The cottage was so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home straight away. The cottage had everything that we needed for celebrating Christmas away with our family and is so well situated with lots of lovely walks and little villages close by. Penny was a great host and helped us promptly with any issues or queries we had, both during the booking process and while we were away.

Cottages with a difference

We booked Shippon and Old Dairy for a special birthday celebration. The accommodation is well above average for a holiday rental with extremely well-equipped kitchens, comfortable beds with good linen, wi-fi and enough space for a large dinner party. Highly recommended.
