Dream house by the sea

This house was the reason why we chose Samos and it turned out to be even more perfect than we expected. It is right by the sea, it is clean and spacious, it has a very authentic stone-house vibe, a beautiful back garden and a breathtaking veranda on the second floor. The beach is pebbled and the sea is warm and very clean. The house is close to two private beaches on either side, close to the airport, a taxi station and a car/bike rental spot. It is also a very pleasant 25-30 min walk to Pythagorio. From the first until the last day we were kindly assisted by Eleni and her father. If we return to Samos, I would love to go back to this magical place.

If you want a taste of paradise, stay here! The property itself is amazing: nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The location is superb. You can walk to Pythagorio in 35 minutes. There are local restaurants, cafés and a well stocked convenience store within a few minutes walk. We didn’t have a car and found the walking to be part of the whole experience. The location of the house is literally on the beach. All you need to do is open the door and step outside. It’s like stepping into Narnia. And the balcony is heavenly. Demetri, the owner, is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He was very attentive and responsive, going out of his way to ensure we had a lovely stay. My co-travelers came from a war zone and found the refreshment and peace that they desperately needed. Big thanks to Demetri!!!

What an amazing location - if you want to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves this is the place for you! When you want to have a swim step out the front door (I recommend you bring beach shoes as it’s a pebbled beach) you can swim lengths or just paddle in the shallow water. Amazing sunsets and the moon glistening on the water was very special! Our host Dimitros was kind and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. There was some amazing olive oil, coffee for us to use and I was able to use some herbs from the garden. Pythagoria was 30 minutes walk with lovely bars and restaurants- we did a trip to Samos town and Kokkari- we didn’t have a car but taxis were available regularly and not overly expensive! We went to the Greek supermarket which was about 30 minute walk or a taxi for about 9 for our supplies although there is a mini market across the street which stocks the basic - if your looking for a little Greek getaway this is the place for you - Thanks Dimitros for hosting

booking the dream of waves at your front porch

we booked this place as we were struck by the image of the villa right on the waters edge, and that is exactly what it is. The house is spacious, had a beautiful outside balcony area with great views, and couldn't be any closer to the water without waves coming in the front door. Dimitrios was a friendly, helpful, kind host, and we enjoyed some good talks with him and his advice on the area. the price is more than fair, maybe even a bit too low for what you get. But the big feature remains the ability to walk out your door, take two steps and you're in the water. priceless

Bombastische Lage

Wir haben uns in die Lage von vorne herein verliebt. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war super, so eine freundliche Begrüßung habe ich noch nie erlebt und auch auf unsere Anfragen wurde immer umgehend reagiert. Wenn wir für die Lage mehr Sterne geben würde, würden wir sie auch vergeben. Das Objekt liegt nahe des Flughafens, da wir aber zum Ende der Saison da waren, haben wir dies nicht als störend empfunden.

Beautiful house

The property and the house were beautiful and seemed very well kept. Great location to enjoy a private beach. Only one thing I would suggest changing would be the mattress in the main bedroom. Eleni met us with a smile and was ready for us if we had any questions. Thank you again for the stay in your beautiful home.

Gorgeous villa in a great location

Myself and two friends had a wonderful week in this gorgeous villa literally 2 yards from the sea! It has a fantastic verandah on the first floor with a beautiful view of the beach, the sea, the nearby village, and the surrounding hills. There are two good sized bedrooms, and spacious kitchen/dining/lounge areas. Our host Dimitrios and his sister Eleni were so friendly and helpful and were always quick to answer any questions we had. I thoroughly recommend this jewel of a villa in such a fab location.

Wie ein Sechster im Lotto

Alles was man sich im Urlaub wünscht , bekommt man hier. Echt wie ein sechster im Lotto. Wir wollten gar nicht wieder abreisen. Wir hoffen nur, das wir noch ganz oft wiederkommen können. Wenn man sich wirklich erholen möchte und um sich mal wieder zu erden, ist diese Villa die 1. der ersten Adresse. Unsere Begeisterung ist so groß, wir könnten einen Roman schreiben. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub in diesem traumhaften Haus, direkt am Meer. Die Fotos im Internet spiegeln die Realität 1:1 wieder, wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit dort verbracht. Dimitrios ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und hat sich toll um uns gekümmert- Wir bedanken uns noch einmal ganz herzlich und empfehlen dieses Haus auf jeden Fall! Wir kommen wieder!

Soggiorno a Potokaki

La casa è in una posizione eccellente proprio sul mare così come si vede dalle foto. All'interno il proprietario ha avuto cura che trovassimo tutto l'occorrente per rendere gradevole il nostro soggiorno. Persona veramente disponibile e gentile e la casa era talmente ben organizzata che non abbiamo avuto bisogno di chiedere altro. Dagli accessori interni all'aria condizionata che è stata in alcuni giorni anzi in alcune notti veramente utile. C'era anche un bel giardino con alcuni prodotti di cui abbiamo potuto usufruire. E poi avere il mare sottocasa dormire con il rumore delle onde e vedere il sorgere del sole dal terrazzo... Non ha prezzo. Grazie di tutto. Bella l'isola di SAMOS

A beautiful place and a real home

Anyone entering the house and property - either from the beach through a beautiful wooden door or from the street through the courtyard adjoining a lovingly maintained garden - will immediately realise that this house is not just any object rented to tourists, but a beautiful, real and authentic home. The villa is located directly on the beach, as the advertisement without exception correctly describes, so that you can step from the living room directly to the sea. During the day we enjoyed the big balcony with a great view to the sea in front of us and the villages Pythagorio (from the balcony on the left) and Ireon (from the balcony on the right), at night the wonderful starry sky and the peace. From Potokaki it takes only 25 minutes to walk to Pythagorio, where you can watch the tourists at one or the other ouzo at the harbour. Or you stay on your big balcony in the coastal villa, cook a snack in the in-house kitchen or get some snacks from the mini-market around the corner, which is open until 10 pm. The best restaurant in Potokaki is a good ten minutes walk in direction to Ireon directly at the beach. Especially nice is, to let the sound of the waves rock you to sleep at night. Depending on the waves you can also hear the cicadas calling sometimes. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place and real home very much and can only thank the owner for his confidence. With him we agreed on a "common sense" and cleaned the house and the balcony a bit before our departure. Maybe a few words about the owner: Dimitrios is a very friendly and open-minded guy, who was even kind enough to leave us wine, water and a few snacks to eat (without demanding anything in return). It's easy to recognize that he is not only interested in money and is very happy about people who really appreciate this wonderful place and this real home and treat it with care. Thanks you for everything, Dimitrios.
