In our search for a place to stay in Samos we stumbled across Andrew & Fiona's Blue Aegean Villa. We could not have wished for a more perfectly fitting house for our family. Everything concerning the house is as described and very convenient and the few questions we had were answered quickly by Fiona or the local contact Evdokia. The location just outside of Kampos/Votsalakia is perfect; far enough for total relaxation away from the crowds (which are still very modest here in general) , close enough to enjoy daily beach/food experiences. You can go out and explore the nearby coast or mount Kerkis by foot, but just as easily spend a full day lounging by the house if you don't feel like going anywhere. We travelled to check out Kokkari (/- 1 hr north) and Pythagorion (/- 1 hr east, close to airport), but the area around the house remained our favourite spot. In addition to the beaches close by the house, we also recommend a visit to Kaldakia beach (15-20 min drive). In sum, we wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this house and hope to return one day!
