House on the Waves

Our house is a space for anyone who loves the immediate contact with the sea and the land. It is an opportunity for an alternative touristic experience, as it is literally beside the sea , with only the beach inbetween, such that the visitor feels that he has total privacy there.A vegetable garden and a well are available there, and only a ten -minute walk will bring you to the scenic, traditional fishing village of Ormou Marathokabou.
This house gives the opportunity for the visitor to stay next to the seaside, away and yet near to civilization. To go fishing, get his vegetables directly from the cultivated back garden, to water the tomatoes, peppers, courgettes and aubergines without much effort. One can even sleep at night listening to the waves yet without leaving away any of the comforts one is used to.

Best stay in Samos

We have had 3 fantastic weeks in this little gem and hope to be able to come back at another time. An upgrade of the kitchen elements at some point would elevate the interior overall.

Simply wonderful

A very nice place, the house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and it's 15 meters from the front door to the mediterranean sea. The place has everything we need and the hosts are very, very friendly, helpful and generous. There are a few houses in the neighborhood but we were mostly alone there. It's 20 minutes by foot to the little supermarket in Ormos if you go slowly. I recommend this place for everybody who likes quietude and nature.

Ruhiges Haus mit traumhaftem Blick

Wir haben als Familie eine wunderbare Woche in dem Haus verbracht. Der Vermieter war nicht persönlich vor Ort, aber reagierte sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen. Morgens mit dem Meeresrauschen aufwachen war ganz besonders toll. Der Zugang zum Meer ist hier sehr steinig, aber mit Wasserschuhen geht es. Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten sehr gut, was wichtig war, da es in den letzten Nächten seht heiß war. Wir waren zufrieden und haben den Blick auf das Meer sehr genossen.

Die Lage machts!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Lage direkt am Meer und ohne direkte Nachbarn ist wirklich einzigartig - eine herrliche Ruhe. Stamatis haben wir nicht kennengelernt, er war aber per E-Mail immer erreichbar. Wir können das Haus empfehlen.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub in traumhaft ruhiger Umgebung

Das direkt am Meer gelegene Haus hat alles, was man braucht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Den Vermieter Stamatis konnten wir nicht persönlich kennenlernen, da er gesundheitsbedingt verhindert war. Allerdings hat er uns per mail jede Frage immer sofort beantwortet und Hilfe geschickt, als wir uns einmal versehentlich ausgeschlossen haben. Den Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen, wir hatten dort eine himmlische Ruhe, schöne Natur, ein traumhaft blaues Meer und jede Menge Entspannung. Wir können das Haus auf den Wellen allen Ruhe suchenden empfehlen. Und Samos, das wir schon mehrfach besucht haben, sowieso, es ist wirklich eine traumhafte, kleine und sehr grüne Insel mit liebenswerten Menschen. Hoffentlich bis irgendwann mal wieder.

Ein magischer Ort, wie es nur wenige gibt!

Im Oktober 2020 dürften wir für eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus wohnen. Die ersten beiden Tage haben wir uns nur um das Haus herum aufgehalten, ein herrlicher Blick, der schattige Platz zum Ausruhen, ein Kieselstrand und das Mittelmeer mit glasklarem Wasser und Schwärmen kleiner Fische vor der Haustür, was braucht es mehr! Wir hatten den Strand ganz für uns alleine, wir hätten uns schon etwas mehr Betrieb gewünscht, aber die Pandemie hatte die meisten Reisenden verschreckt. In kurzer Entfernung das kleine Hafenstädtchen Ormos mit vielen kleinen Restaurants am Meer, Wanderwege in den Bergen, Sandstrände im Westen, all das ist schnell zu erreichen! Wir alle haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder

Beautiful house on an wonderful island

We've been in greece for many years, but this was our first visit of Samos and we're absoluty excited. We stayed at the the house on the waves for 14 days with 3 people. The house is directly on the sea. You fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the sea. Outside the house are a lot of cots and seating possibilities to have breakfast outdoor. Inside the house you have everything what you need and it is all very clean and under very good conditions. Stamatis gave us a lot of tipps for trips around Samos and a lot of tipps of restaurants and all tipps of Stamatis were very helpful for us. It was a wonderful trip and we'll come back again!!

ruhige Lage direkt am Meer

Das Haus ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Küche ist bis auf die alte Kaffemaschiene top eingerichtet. Da das Haus sehr abgelegen ist braucht man ein Auto. Bis Ormos Hafen braucht man 20min zu Fuss.

Why they chose this property

is a specially beautiful protected area where it is forbidden to build more houses and shops, so few lucky ones enjoy a beach on their own. There are few beachfront houses and few tourists, but the visitor is just a 10-minute walk from the traditional fishing village of Maroma Island, where you can find a supermarket, bakery and many good restaurants
