About this property

In the heart of the famous Bernese station, in pedestrian zone

At the heart of the famous Bernese station (1050m) we offer for rent a small apartment with terrace.

In the historic center of Vieux Gstaad, in a pedestrian area, at the Chesery Platz we offer you a nice 1 ½ room apartment of 35m2 in one of the oldest chalet in the village (1730)

Climbing under the roof and entering the apartment you enter directly into the living room. It consists of two large leather chairs, a cable TV, and an old bistro table for the dining area.

On the side, there is a sleeping area (12m2) consisting of a double bed (180/190) a dresser and a shepherdess. It is separated from the living room by a curtain

A small wooden staircase goes up to the mezzanine on which there are 2 beds
(110/190 and 90/190) for children or adults.

The kitchen area includes a sink, 2 hotplates, a fridge and a microwave.

The bathroom consists of a shower, sink and toilet with faience alpine decorations.

A large sunny balcony decorates this studio. (8m2).

This apartment is cozy. And was very clean when I arrived. WiFi was reliable and location is superb. Hosts were very helpful.I didn’t go into the loft. The main bed was comfortable and I slept quite well. Nights are very quiet. I will not hesitate to stay here again.I will say if you are tall, over about 5 feet 10 inches/177cm, make sure to remember to duck. Doorways are short as this chalet was built in the 1700s when we were shorter! I bumped my head a few times.Nice to have option to cook with the kitchenette rather than go out to eat everyday like in a hotel. For those first time visitors to Gstaad, just know that many stores close early (by 5 or so depending on day), and are not open Sundays, so plan accordingly. The largest grocery store is the Coop is just by the train station, about a five to seven minute walk, and there’s a butchery towards the east about 30 second walk, and cheese shop with other various foods about 1 minute walk away outside the pedestrian street zone, across the road and creek. Lastly, see the Gstaad Tourist center with your proof of rental dates for the Gstaad Card pass which will get you free local transit travel and some discounts.

I Love Gstaad - a chateau away from home

Every time we visit Gstaad it gets better just like an old wine. Switzerland though known as scenic heaven on earth, this area brings the best of it both in winter and summer time. Great valley, serene and cute village, beautiful surroundings and many breathtaking scenic places. This loft chateau is in the perfect location and an absolutely stunning view of the Palace from our flower covered balcony. We will be back every year to stay.

Einzigartige Unterkunft

Wirklich sehr gemütliche, atmosphärische kleine Unterkunft im Zentrum von Gstaad mit allem notwendigen wie Kaffeemaschine, kleine Kochgelegenheit, Balkon zum frühstücken (2 Personen), Parkplatz meistens vor Haus frei (zumind. in Vorsaison). Keine Waschmaschine. Sicherlich nicht riesig und Deckenhöhe, z.B. in Schlafnische, niedrig. Dafür sehr gemütlich und urig. Schlüsselübergabe war sehr problemlos, Vermieter war gut telefonisch erreichbar, nette Kommunikation. Aus meiner Sicht empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht jeden Luxus braucht, sondern mit gemütlicher kleiner Ferienwohnung zufrieden ist.

COZY CHALET in GSTAAD

Small but very authentic infrastructure. Private hall for for example to put shoes. Basic but enough equipment. Photo's on website are entirely representative. Excellent location in the heart of GSTAAD. Excellent Wifi and a new big flatscreen. Very quiet at night and only some light street-noise during W.E (sat-sun). Very good price-quality relation. Nice and honest Owner. Certainly a chalet to return and to recommend !!!

Appartement dans chalet ancien typique et bien placé.Proprietaire très sympathique et avenant ,désireux d'améliorer les choses.Comme la wifi un peu faible ou les ustensiles de cuisine manquants. Les personnes de grande taille seront peut-être gênés dans la douche et surtout dans la chambre (sous le toit).

Chalet typique au cœur de Gstaad

Ce chalet typique est idéalement situé en zone piétonne de Gstaad, ce qui permet d'oublier la voiture le temps du séjour. Conformé aux photos présentées sur le site. Bon contact avec le propriétaire qui est quelqu'un de très arrangeant. Seul bémol : l'accès aux deux lits en mezzanine et la hauteur des balustrades qui ne sont pas adaptés pour des enfants en bas âge.
