The Gite is at the edge of a friendly, pretty little village with 2 restaurants, a pharmacy, post office and small supermarket all within 3-5 minutes walk. Boulangerie and Spar supermarket 10 mins walk 2 mins in car. The Comfortable 2 bedroom gite is bright, airy and freshly decorated with high ceilings and exposed beams. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed. The Gites come with a lounge with settee and chairs, English TV and DVD. A fully equipped kitchen diner with toaster, kettle, coffee machine and a full size cooker and fridge. A large grassed front garden with parking for 4 cars. Very large fully enclosed grassed rear garden with fruit trees, large boules court, table tennis and badminton with a superb 40ft x 20ft fenced swimming pool with loungers and chairs, ideal for children and sun bathing. Central to all local attractions, La Rochelle with it's towers and beautiful waterfront restaurants. Fort Boyard,as featured on the television series. The beautiful island of Ile de Ré,well worth visiting. The Venise Vert and it's beautiful canals. The Mervant Forest for a lovely days pic. The superb blue flag beaches of Aguillion and La Tranch only 20 minutes away. This is a wonderful place to relax and let the children really enjoy themselves.
