Feeling at home in Barfleur

Nice house, feeling very comfortable. Just a few steps to the port, bakery and restaurants. Perfect! Would like to return with friends as house is really spacious. Friendly welcome on arrival!

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is ideal for a family of four. Our kids (17 and 13 years old) had each their own room. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it frequently. Barfleur is well situated for excursions to many interesting places nearby. The best beach bar of the country is just 15 minutes away: „Le Goeland 1951“ in Reville. We will definitively come back!

I can't say enough great things about the house, the location, and the kind hosts. We stayed about 7 weeks. It was myself, my wife, and my father-in-law who is over 80. We discovered a new hobby - collecting beach glass! Naturally, over such a long time a few issues come about like a failed dryer but the host was ultra-fast as fixing it, great communication. The neighbor is the local contact - Mrs. Lavergne and her husband, she speaks good english and was able to assist with several things really outside the boundaries of a host's responsibility and we are very appreciative of their kindness. The stairs are a bit tricky, but my father-in-law was able to do them - if slowly! It was very nice having a ground-level second bathroom - especially for him. The enclosed rear patio was really nice, and incuded a nice small shed which was perfect to keep our bikes out of the way. It was perfectly clean, all amenities that we would want, very accurate description. In my opinion, you can't do better.

Visite du Cotentin au départ de cette jolie petite maison de pêcheur à Barfleur.

Agréable semaine passée à Barfleur. La maison est idéalement située juste à côté du port dans une paisible petite rue. Maison disposant d'un équipement complet. Les deux chambres au premier étage sont très agréables. La chambre au second étage sous le toit est plus difficile d'accès. Très beau séjour dans cette jolie maison de pêcheur très joliment restaurée. Excellent contact avec le propriétaire ainsi qu'avec le couple de personnes qui nous a accueilli. Sehr schöne Lage

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in Bester Lage in Barfleur. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist oberflächlich sauber, Schränke und Kühlschrank müsste mal gesäubert werden. Nicht in Ordnung fand ich die 80€ für ein Schlafzimmer mit bezogenen Betten. Wir waren nur zu zweit und haben auf Nachfrage trotzdem 80€ für die Bettwäsche zahlen müssen.
