About this property
Cozy Pacific Beach Cottage w/Bikes, Private Yard & Entrance
This Cozy Beach Cottage has one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and its own private yard and entrance. Located in sunny Pacific Beach we are walking & biking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery, beach, and bay! There is a full kitchen with a dining area, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, stove/oven, refrigerator, and all your kitchen basic essentials. Cozy living room with games, books, and Smart TV (no cable). Our private outdoor area is fully fenced with a shaded dining area and a separate lounge area. You can even enjoy the Sea World fireworks from the patio! Beach cruisers are provided for you and are the best way to cruise around Pacific Beach! This place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
There is plenty of street parking if you are traveling by car. Most everything is within walking distance, there is bus transportation nearby, motorized scooters, and Uber/Lyft. We are on one of the main roads in and out of the beach area so there is some traffic noise but it also makes us very walkable to lots to do!
The Neighborhood
Pacific Beach in San Diego is a young beach town with the attraction of the surf and sand by day and the lure of bars and restaurants by night. Located south of La Jolla and north of Mission Beach, this San Diego beach has a popular nightlife scene from dancing to drinking craft beers, which attracts a college-aged and young professionals crowd.
San Diego Pacific Beach is also the ideal spot to catch some waves on your surfboard or bodyboard, while children splash around in the water and build sandcastles on the beach. San Diego Pacific Beach visitors are encouraged to try other water sports popular at the beach such as kayaking, sailing and paddle boarding. As for some physical activity on dry land, Pacific Beach has the Ocean Front Walk, which is a boardwalk that stretches parallel to the Pacific Ocean. The boardwalk is lined with shops and restaurants, and it is always filled with beach cruisers, joggers, and skateboarders zooming along the strip. Garnet Avenue is another attraction in Pacific Beach, which is packed with boutiques providing everything from beach souvenirs to trendy clothing. Also at Garnet Avenue, on Tuesdays from 2 pm until 6:30 pm, a farmer's market sets up, where visitors can taste smoothie samples and browse local photography. The San Diego beach market sells local produce, cuisine and arts, and jewelry.
Beaches/Boardwalk – The beach/Pacific Ocean is 1.5 miles directly West. (7 min bike ride/approx. 34 min walk) Mission Bay is 0.9 miles South. (5 min bike ride, approx. 20 min walk.) The boardwalk/bike path goes around the bay and wraps around continuing along the beach/ocean side.
Airport - We are 8.6 miles from the San Diego International Airport.
Getting Around
Bus Route: Route 9 can be picked up at Ingraham and Garnet. It can take you down Garnet to the beach or in the other direction to SeaWorld and Old Town. Adult $2.50

UBER/Lyft: The easiest way to get around if you don’t have a car is downloading the Uber or Lyft app.
