About this property

Gite Autoire - close to Rocamadour and Gouffre de Padirac

Welcome to LagrĂšze gĂźtes.
Gite Autoire is a delightful one bedroom gßte with en-suite and open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, set within 1.5 acres of grounds with access to a 12 x 6m swimming pool (shared between our 4 gites). Situated between the villages of Mayrinhac-Lentour and Thégra, deep in the scenic Lot countryside. This is our fourth season running our gites and we will do our very upmost to ensure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.

Gite Autoire is one of four gites housed in our 18th century barn, nestled in 1.5 acres of gardens.

The barn consists of the following accommodation...
Gite Champollion (3-bedroom, sleeps 6)
Gite Fenelon (2-bedroom, sleeps 5)
Gite Autoire (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)
Gite Amadour (1-bedroom, sleeps 2)

All the gĂźtes have been lovingly restored and have their own private areas.
The gite includes a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge/diner with a large TV with French FreeSat channels plus a DVD player with a small collection of DVDs.
Wifi available free of charge.
All bed linen, towels, beach towels and tea towels are provided.
A shared laundry room is available which includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat are available upon request.
Table tennis is available on site.
With a 12m x 6m swimming pool (shared between our 4 gites) in tranquil surroundings, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
A terrace area is also available complete with table and chairs accessed by the French doors from the gite.
Autoire is also ideally located for guests interested in outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, canoeing etc, in addition to appealing to those who are a little less energetic just wishing to tour the nearby vineyards, medieval towns, day/evening markets and sample the fabulous local cuisine from a choice of local restaurants or you can simply enjoy the stunning Lot countryside.

For an additional charge of 20 euros, we can arrange for your gite to be cleaned midway through your stay. Generally, this would apply to lets of 2 weeks or more.

Fantastic gite

We loved everything about Valerie and Andrew’s gite. The location is beautiful- quiet and rural. We very much enjoyed using the lovely swimming pool. The gite itself was lovely- clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were left a very much appreciated welcome basket of goodies too. The hosts were there to greet us and were available next door if we needed them. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you very much.

Perfect week

Arriving late, not having done any shopping we were saved by your welcome basket.A nice glass of wine in the evening and a breakfast. Andrew’s advice for the Sundaymorning market in St CĂ©rĂ© helped us further. Romanesque churches, castles and the gouffre de Padirac were within easy reach. Autoire is a spacious op gite for 2 with a terrace on one side and the swimming pool at the other Ideal!

Tout d'abord nous avons reçu un excellent acceuil d'Andrew notre HÎte, qui a facilité notre arrivée en mettant à notre disposition pour démarrer notre séjour, lait, café,e croissants, rt j'en passe, ainsi qu'une bouteille de vin du Quercy. Bonjour, Nous avons passĂ© de trĂšs belles vacances dans le gĂźte d'Andrew et de ValĂ©rie. Tout Ă©tait parfait, trĂšs propre, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©, nous avons mĂȘme eu le linge de maison. La piscine, le beau jardin, l'environnement, le calme, le soleil. Il y a plein de belles choses Ă  dĂ©couvrir dans la rĂ©gion, de belles visites, de belles randonnĂ©es, de belles plages sur la Dordogne et des bons restaurants avec les produits locaux canard, agneau, fromage. Le charme de la campagne

Nous avons reçu un accueil trĂšs attentionnĂ© avec de plus un panier bien garni et vin de Cahors! notre logis tres vaste et confortable, amĂ©nagĂ© avec beaucoup de goĂ»t a rĂ©pondu Ă  tous nos besoin. Sans oublier la piscine tres apprĂ©ciĂ©e aprĂšs les journĂ©es de visite. Le gĂźte est Ă  proximitĂ© de plusieurs points d’intĂ©rĂȘt et nos hĂŽtes nous ont fourni beaucoup de documentation, en plus de nous rappeler Ă  l’avance de penser Ă  rĂ©server pour le Gouffre de Padirac. A notre arrivĂ©e: de l’eau fraĂźche, du lait, du jus de fruit dans le frigo , une corbeille sur la table avec des chips, un gĂąteau, des croissants frais et en prime une excellente bouteille de Cahors. Qui dit mieux. Sur l’avant un superbe coin piscine et sur l’arriĂšre une terrasse bien Ă©quipĂ©e et barbecue en prime. A l’intĂ©rieur rien ne manque: Ă©quipement Top. DĂ©coration simple et classe; bonne literie. Maison fraĂźche tout confort. Autour un champ tondu presqu’a l’anglaise. Des hĂŽtes adorables Ă  votre Ă©coute. De plus un rapport qualitĂ© /prix d’ un trĂšs bon niveau. Vraiment une adresse a conseiller Merci Ă  Andrew er ValĂ©rie The best welcome ever seen in a cottage. On arrival: fresh water, milk, fruit juice in the fridge, a basket on the table with crisps, a cake, fresh croissants and an excellent bottle of Cahors as a bonus. Who says better. On the front a superb pool area and on the back a well-equipped terrace and barbecue as a bonus. Inside nothing is missing: Top equipment. Simple and classy decoration; good bedding. Fresh house with every comfort. Around an almost English mowed field. Adorable hosts at your service. In addition a very good quality / price ratio. Séjour dans le lot au gßte d'Andrew et Valérie

Nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour. GĂźte idĂ©alement placĂ© pour visiter toutes les merveilles du Lot. Andrew et ValĂ©rie sont des hĂŽtes trĂšs agrĂ©ables, gentils, amicales, Ă  l'Ă©coute et disponible. A notre arrivĂ©e, une attention toute particuliĂšre de nos hĂŽtes nous attendait, un beau panier garni de denrĂ©es alimentaires accompagnĂ© d'une trĂšs bonne bouteille de vin. Le gĂźte est trĂšs bien tenu et d'une propretĂ© hors pair. Il est tout Ă©quipĂ©, on s'y sent comme Ă  la maison. L'extĂ©rieur est magnifique, une pelouse impeccable, joliment fleurie et boisĂ©e, oĂč nous avons pu apprĂ©cier le chant des oiseaux, le soleil et la campagne. Si vous rencontrez une difficultĂ© quelconque, Andrew vous le solutionne en clin d'oeil. Exemple : Nous n'avions pas trouvĂ© le fonctionnement pour dĂ©sactiver l'alarme de la piscine malgrĂ© des explications dĂ©taillĂ©es. L'alarme s'est donc dĂ©clenchĂ©e et tel "Flash", Andrew l'a dĂ©sactivĂ© et nous a montrĂ© comment faire. 🙂 Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et nous le conseillerons !

Quatre gites dans un mĂȘme bĂątiment proche de la piscine sur un grand terrain vert au calme dans la campagne. Un bon emplacement pour visiter aux alentours Padirac, Rocamadour.... Il y a de quoi s'occuper en Dosdogne. TrĂšs bon accueil et des hĂŽtes du lieu aux petits soins notamment avec un beau panier d'accueil.
