You have found a little treasure with this tropical 5th floor studio at The Florence! Sit and enjoy the sun with the ocean and bay views from the private south facing balcony. You will sleep well on the new queen comforpedic loft mattress fitted with all cotton sheets. A queen sleeper is also ready to go for additional guests. This studio unit will accommodate up to 4 people. Plenty of soft towels are in the bath that has a tub/shower combo. Our kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with pots and pans, dishes, glasses etc. A 50" smart TV with cable and showtime, a DVD and high speed WiFi will help occupy your down time.
Self check in with your personal code and keyless entry makes keeping up with keys a thing of the past.
You will love this cozy getaway!
It's a great value & right on the beach.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required for each.
Max guests: This unit must not exceed 4 guests.

Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday dates. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.

This is a very nice area. You go from the pool area to the beach easily. It's pet friendly. I loved sitting on the patio and watching the sun rise. I enjoyed the hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

Y'all - staying in a smaller space is 100% worth being beach side. being able to go upstairs to take a nap or grab our sandwiches so we didn't have to lug a cooler all over was perfect. the condo owner also included just about everything you could need to have a smooth stay. will absolutely rent with them again!

Property was amazing. However, property owner stated they sent an agreement for the Cando on the 19th of May and never did and our room was not assigned until we had already got there and the agreement wasn’t send until we arrived at the facility. They should call to confirm if an email of agreement was sent if they do not receive the agreement back in a timely manner to make the process easier and not make people wait and wonder the day they arrive.

SMALL 5th Floor Condo

Our stay got off to a bad starting! The unit was smaller than I expected. I quickly ruled out the thought of doing any cooking. The patio was also a disappointment as you face the roof of the adjoining building and overlooks the dumpster. Your ocean view is limited by what you can see to the left thru the alley.The handle set on the patio door gave us our first problem and should be replaced. We have stayed in alot of VRBOs...this is the first one with operating instructions posted on an interior door. It took us awhile to get it open and in the meantime I was feeling really claustrophobic. Then we discovered that we didn't have any water. I contacted the management and found out it was a city wide problem. In a case like that, I would expect that the management would inform the renters of such a problem. And also inform them of the need to boil water after water service was restored but we didn't receive any notifications from them. On the final day of our stay we couldn't access the beach from the condo because utility workers had the gate padlocked due to some excavations being done. Again no notice of such was provided beforehand by management so after trudging down with all our beach accessories and finding the gate locked, i had to contact them to inquire about the closest public beach access. Hindsight being 20/20 , I would have probably been happier staying in a hotel.

I liked the fact we did not have to drive anywhere to go to the beach .. the beach was a accessable from the property. There is a full kitchen in this unit complete with pots, pans and all the dishes needed to prepare and serve meals. The hot tub was relaxing after a full day of activities. I will definately come here again!

I loved how cute and clean the place was! I didn't like how when I arrived with my husband with all of our luggage, one of us had to stay behind to go get wrist bands. I'm not an 18 year old on spring break. The check in wasn't very organized.

This is the worst place I've stayed at on Padre. I feel like I rented a run down motel room with no maid serve. Bed very uncomfortable an to small woke up every morning with backache. AC cooled just fine but was very load and woke us up all night long. I'm not from the Island and maybe I don't know the difference between beach front and beach view but we had view of a roof top. Had to stand up at patio rail to see water. Can't tell you how small the place was. One dissatisfied customer.

Great Value and location but details need to be better

Great Location, smaller than I realized. But it worked fine for my sister and I. Good lap pool and Jacuzzi ,close to beach, but long hot sandy path there made it harder than it should have been to walk there. Bed not great high with foam insert on top, Couch slept fine. Parking not simple, but worked. Missing cabinet door in bathroom, no handy cap bar, old faucet with missing parts. Needs to be repainted. A little wild with fireworks going off at 2;00 am. Lots of minor things , All in all for the money it was just fine.
