Set Sail is Spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home that accommodates 12 guests and is located at 14 Lifeguard Loop East, in the Seacrest Beach community and only 3 blocks from the 12,000 sq. ft. Lagoon style pool!

This beautifully home has a Spacious/Open Concept living and dining area on the first level, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, dining table w/ seating for 6, with additional seating at the bar. Set Sail features four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and access to one of the home’s many balconies with a wonderful view of the community. The third level balcony of the home is a luxuriously furnished patio with plush seating for guests to enjoy a view from the top!

Last minute trip

We decided last minute to head to the beach for the week. So thankful that Set Sail was available in the Seacrest neighborhood. It was super comfortable and amazingly clean! We have stayed in Seacrest twice before and enjoy the area. Although the house had all the comforts of home, some bikes or beach chairs, or umbrella would be a nice addition.

Master bedroom

The house was beautiful. The master bedroom has a soft queen and hard pillows. We prefer a hard bed and soft pillows. There is no closet to hang clothes.

We have been coming to the Seacrest Beach area for the last 10 years and this home is our favorite. The layout for this 3 story home offered a lot of privacy and the 4 bedrooms all have their own bathrooms which was a huge benefit during our stay. Our kids loved the bunkroom on the 2nd floor. In addition, all the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors have their own balconies. The 3rd deck has an awesome deck where our family would gather every night which created some great memories. The deck on the 1st floor has a gas grill and outdoor furniture which we used a lot during our stay. The home was very clean and the overall accommodations were amazing. Looking forward to our next vacation and staying at Set Sail.

Cute house with everything we needed

Prior reviews made us think we’d need to bring extra things but this cute house had everything we needed. We loved that every room had their own porch and the one at the top was part in sun and part out. Seems a sweet family owns this happy home. Thank you for providing all we needed for a wonderful family vacation ~

Our family had a fun week in this relaxing residence. There was lots of room for everyone and fresh linens. We had many places to walk and a short distance to the beach. There was music in the evenings and a large fire pit to give that cozy feeling. We had our own bikes but there was also bikes to rent at the enterance of the resort.

Outstanding home

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house by Seacrest Beach! The location is perfect, just a short walk or take tram that’s provided by the community to the beautiful beach, which made our days filled with sun, sand, and sea. The house itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredibly responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere of our stay. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway. We can't wait to return!

In general the house was nice Great location walkable to everything Great layout for 3 families But house needs some refreshing and it would be perfect Shower doors didn’t close well, outside grill was really dirty, kitchen stove only 2 burners worked, grill on stove didn’t get hot, microwave due to work well There were not enough cooking utensils Not enough silver ware Mattresses in rooms starting to feel worn Property manager Gary was extremely responsive!!

Fun time!

I was disappointed with the safety of things for small children. The railing on the third floor has broken or loose rails. The back deck was soft and broken in pieces. The house was lovely and we had a great time! Thanks!

Great family vacation in Seacrest

Wonderful vacation in a beautiful home! We loved the floor plan - the tweens loved spending time on second floor while adults visited downstairs. Bunk room is even cuter in person. Front bedrooms were a bit bright with morning sun. I loved it, but hubby and kids wanted to sleep in a bit longer. Well stocked kitchen (even has a KitchenAid mixer!), beautifully and comfortably furnished, gas grill. No bikes included with this rental, but were available nearby at 30A Peddler. Pool was amazing!!!! Easy bike ride or cart ride to the beach.

Hurricane evacuation

A beautiful home, we chose, to run from Hurricane Irma. The pictures on VRBO show exactly what to expect. Lovely! Very easy to work with on the rental. Very helpful and prompt in answering questions. We had to leave early because the hurricane was changing directions and we felt we'd actually be as safe or safer at home with my 84 year old mom on oxygen 24/7. There was no refund for the three nights unused BUT I dont believe there was an evacuation ordered for the area and that is when a refund technically would have been given per the contract. I would highly recommend the home, the area and the managing company!

We enjoyed our stay, but had issue with several items that need to be addressed. The kitchen was not stocked as well as other houses we have stayed in. The silverware was limited, especially the spoons. There was no blender or extra trash bags. The "master" bedroom on the first floor was the back entrance to the house. Not good for the person staying in that room. I feel this should have been noted in the description. The ceiling fan in this bedroom was broken and stored in the closet. The bed was very comfy! Bathroom was very small and shower door did not shut because the glass was coming out from the frame. There were no table lamps in the living room. The second floor bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Only issue was the bathroom lock was broken and grandson got locked in. The balconies were nice but needed more furniture to take advantage of them. The third floor master and bathroom were also nice. Great balcony with comfy furniture. Online listing did not give a good description of the layout for this house. I realize some of the issues are personal preference. But, others need to be addressed to provide a top notch experience.

Great getaway

We enjoyed the house but had some issues. Although this location does not allow pets, we found dog hair in multiple locations when we arrived. We chose a home with no pets because my family has allergies to pets. We had to make accommodations due to this. This location is tram dependent for easy beach access which we undersold. However, the tram’s hours were greatly reduced because of mechanical issues and staffing issues. This impacted our beach travels for the entire week. Overall, the house is spacious and well equipped.

Perfect 30A Beach getaway

We arrived to a pristine vacation home, perfectly clean and prepared for our family. Everything was exactly as advertised and we were just steps from the large pool and beach access. Ideal location for a variety of activities in the area. Communication by the property manager was spot on with clear and accurate information. Overall a great family vacation.

Great home base for 30A vacation

We had 3 families stay at this property. Bunk room was great for kids and enough beds for adults too. The master suite on 3rd floor was really nice! Kitchen had most of what we needed except for cutting boards. The stovetop took a little bit of time to heat up for multiple pots but was workable. Would have been nice to be a little closer to beach, but the walk wasn't bad (and there's a tram I believe, but we didn't use, Might not have been in service anyway due to COVID-19). Only other downside was that the entry/exit to back porch/driveway area runs through the downstairs bedroom. All in all, I'd give this a 8.5/10.

Pros: Location is great, amenities all in walking distance, house was beautiful, customer service was top notch, trams are helpful to get to and from the beach. Drawbacks: Area of beach if you have little kids and want to be near the water to watch them is VERY small as its reserved for guests at another resort. Pool was ice cold, mostly due to the time of year, so I wouldn't expect to use it much if you come during Spring Break. Trash wasn't picked up until Tuesday and trash can was full when we arrived.

Set Sail is a wonderful house at Seacrest Beach! House is very well appointed. Lots of attention to convenience of guests...hair dryers in two of the bathrooms, shower/bath products, hooks for hanging towels, a good supply of glassware and dishes, a wonderful kids bunk room with a VHS player and a collection of kid Movies, Legos and games. It would have been perfect if Master bedrooms had King beds instead of Queens. Very nice rooftop sitting area for evening gatherings and a nice area adjacent to rooftop for preparing snacks and drinks. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay!!

Great house, needs some attention to detail.

We were there for a week, 6 adults, 4 kids, and the house was adequate in size, the location and distance from the beach was what we expected from previous Seacrest stays. Our issues were the quality and amount of silver and dishes, mixing bowls, utensils, and the minimal amount of stuff to get us started, i.e. one dishwasher pod, hotel sized bars of soap, minimal paper products, and the smallest dish washing liquid bottle I have ever seen. There were no king sized beds,(but maybe that was noted), and the ceiling fan in our room was missing but was in pieces in the closet (and we were in the 90's most of the week). I guess that the owner has either on a big time budget or previous renter had pillaged the place. As a note, we rent for ten days every summer in the Keys for 1/3 of the price and the place is very well stocked and everything works. The downstairs air was not up to par, and the owner came by unexpectedly and we let him know. He suggested we call the maintenance folks. I would have addressed it myself right there. The temp outside dropped a little and we were fine but who wants to call maintenance for AC when your on vacation??!! I guess if we go back to Seacrest I will know to ask these things and not expect that the high price would include these.

Very clean and spacious.

This was our 5th year returning to Seacrest. We love the area and always have great luck finding houses. Set Sail was very nice and close to everything. The only concern was a/c on first floor did not work well and the bedroom did not have a ceiling fan. The first floor stayed at 76 all week. The upstairs was cool and all other bedrooms had fans. The house was very family friendly!
