One of the best places we’ve ever stayed

We absolutely loved our stay with James. The river and pool were just brimming with wildlife and we found the accommodation very comfortable, and well thought through. James was always on hand when we needed him. We will be back.

Little paradise for your holidays

We spent an exceptionally good time in James‘ flat which gives you the impression to be in perfect harmony with nature. Small waterfalls, a natural pond for swimming, birds all around the house, loriots wake you up in the morning and frogs bring you to bed in the evening. Ideal place to explore mountain nature, small villages and the phantastic marine environment in the vicinity, particularly the sea around Port Vendres. Highly recommended to those who enjoy the calm side of life.

Seul le cadre est parfait. A l’arrivée nous sommes restés bloqués dehors plus de 2h le système de verrouillage de la porte était défectueux j’ai dû mettre un coup de pied dans la porte pour l’ouvrir car le propriétaire ne répondait pas au téléphone. Intérieur ménage non fait , invasion de fournies dans la salle de bain et la cuisine, lates de parquet disjoint créant des nids à saleté, machine à laver très bruyante,insonorisation entre les logements à faire d’urgence, l’extérieur dû logement aurait besoin d'un bon coup de karcher car très gris sale . Le seul bon point est celui de la rivière avec son bassin de baignade. Il faudrait également revoir les photos de l’annonce car elles ne sont pas d’actualité. Pas de transat, ni de grande table extérieure , table de ping-pong calé avec des cailloux. La porte d’entrée étant une nouvelle fois resté bloqué je suis rentré par une fenêtre à l’aide d’une échelle. Si je dis tout cela ce n’est pas pour nuire au propriétaire , mais ayant eut des gîtes pendant plus de 10 ans je suis conscient de ce qu’attendent les clients. Mes propos ne sont pas exagérés et peuvent être prouvés par des photos. Merci de faire le nécessaire car le cadre vaut vraiment le coup.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (2 adultes 1 fille de 12 ans), l'appartement est très agréable et nous avons bien profité de la piscine naturelle et du calme ambiant. L'appartement est bien organisé et correctement équipé, c'est un excellent rapport qualité/prix. On a l'impression d'être en pleine nature c'est très agréable.La localisation est proche de lieux touristiques (30-50 mn en voiture de Collioure, de toute la côte, et de l'Espagne) mais assez éloigné des commerces du bourg à pied (45 mn à pied du centre de Sorède)... Ne pas oublier de s'arrêter prendre du pain en rentrant.Il est possible depuis l'appartement d'accéder rapidement à des chemins de randonnée mais dommage pour nous, tout était fermé à cause des risques d'incendie. Le parc "la vallée des tortues" est a côté (15 mn a pied) et nous a surpris en bien, on ne s'attendait a pas grand chose et finalement il y a beaucoup d'animaux impressionnants.Merci à James qui a été présent à l'arrivée et a répondu rapidement à nos quelques questions pendant le séjour.

Notre arrivée, pourtant bien confirmée n'était pas attendue. Nous sommes arrivés à 16H00 comme précisé mais le logement n'étant pas prêt, il a fallu attendre dans la chaleur pendant 2 heures. Très éprouvant ! Mis à part cela, le propriétaire est charmant, toujours prêt à rendre service et très disponible. Le logement manque un peu de rigueur quant au nettoyage( toile d'araignée, araignées). Cependant, le site est magnifique, extérieur très agréable et très rafraichissant ! Hors mis l'arrivée chaotique, nous avons passé une super semaine, merci à Jammes :)

Séjour paradisiaque et site idéal avec rivière et baignade en accès direct plutôt facile. James est accueillant et adorable, charmant vraiment prêt à rendre service, super gentil. Maison très fonctionnelle et très propre. Un peu petit pour 4 adultes (canapé 2 places, 2 transats dehors) mais nous avons passé un super séjour !!! Je recommande l’anti moustique. Merci chaleureusement à James de sa gentillesse.

Man muss da gewesen sein! Das Haus aus den 60er oder 70er Jahren ist architektonisch ungewöhnlich. Die Lage am Hang unterhalb der Straße in "glücklichen Tal" und oberhalb des Felsen-Bachbetts hervorragend. Es rauscht. Auch nachts. Und man kanns nicht abstellen. Aber auch das ist es ja gerade. Im Sommer müssen die Naturpools der reine Genuss sein. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, bunt und praktisch, die großen Fenster ins Grün sind "Naturkino". Nicht weit von der Küste (Strände), nahe an Perpignan (Markt!!), mitten in den Bergen (Wandern: teils anspruchsvolle Wege), Spanien, die großen Ziele im Südosten (Collioure...), ein freundlich zurückhaltender aber sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber: wir haben s auf dem Plan und kommen hoffentlich wieder hin.

Séjour exceptionnel

Entre le calme, la rivière, la piscine naturelle, la qualité de l'environnement, il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille, à proximité de la plage tout en restant dans un écrain de verdure en dehors de l'agitation.

Tolle Wohnung mit wunderschönem Garten

Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb von Soréde. Die Zufahrtsstraßen zum Ort sind arg in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt und diese himmlische Ruhe sehr. Die Wohnung ist angenehm groß, mit sehr viel Geschmack eingerichtet und verfügte zu meiner großen Freude über scharfe Messer. Morgens vom Gesang eines Pirols geweckt zu werden war schon sehr besonders. James ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Vermieter. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung sehr.

Entspannter Aufenthalt in naturnaher Umgebung

Wir hatten in James' Haus einen wunderbaren entspannten Urlaub. Die Lage ist ideal, um direkt von dort die Ausflüge in die Berge zu starten, James ist ein guter, sehr netter Gastgeber, die Wohnung, insbesondere die Küche, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben nichts vermisst und uns sehr wohl gefühlt

meditativer Urlaub am Bach

Die Unterkunft ist ideal für Familien, die Ruhe suchen. Man ist ein ganzes Stück vom Meer entfernt, hat dafür aber eine tolle private Badestelle. In der Umgebung kann man trotzdem viel unternehmen, muss aber immer das Auto dafür bewegen. Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wären schön gewesen, ansonsten eine top Unterkunft.

Delightful valley close to the beaches.

Our hosts were friendly, very helpful and full of enthusiasm for the local area. They were quick to offer help when we had a problem (unrelated to the accommodation) and provided a very restful environment. The stream and rockpool were as lovely as the photos.

Nous avons passé une semaine magique entre mer rivière soleil. Le zen de l'endroit se prête au repos et James est un hôte adorable. La maison aurait peut-être besoin d'un petit coup de peinture mais elle est très bien équipée et la literie parfaite ! Nous reviendrons !

Bien mais location à rénover

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances. Nous avons été bien accueillis par James qui s'est montré disponible et à l'écoute. L'endroit est superbe avec un très bel accès à la rivière (la contrepartie est la forte présence de moustiques). La location est très bien placée pour profiter de la montagne et de la mer. La maison est agréable mais nécessiterait d'être rénovée. L'appartement est assez spacieux et correctement équipé. La literie est bonne. En revanche, on entend beaucoup le bruit des locataires du dessus, l'agencement avec l'entrée par la chambre n'est pas des plus pratiques, un nettoyage plus approfondi (portes, toiles d'araignées, recoins) serait bienvenu.

Mittelmäßige Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Umgebung

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung in einer Schlucht ist sehr schön. .Außerdem ist der Naturpool wunderschön und wirklich besonders. Die Ferienwohnung allerdings ist hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit und dem Zustand der Ausstattung verbesserungswürdig.

Nuestra estancia es totalmente recomendable. Hemos encontrado un paraiso dónde hemos pasado unos dias maravillosos en familia. Mis hijos han estado muy muy felices. La única pega que podemos decir es que la mesa de la terraza en vez de ser 2 pequeñas juntas sería mucho más comodo una grande.

Déçus

La propreté de la location intérieure comme extérieure laissait à désirer, il y avait des toiles d'araignées dans la maison, la poussière dans les placards n'était pas faite, une poubelle non vidée des anciens locataires, beaucoup d'insectes aussi à l'intérieur, la maison mal isolée, le linge ne pouvait pas sécher dedans. Il n'y avait pas de chaises longues ni la table avec les bancs sur la terrasse naturelle le long de l'eau comme montrée sur les photos. De plus, je demande une facture acquittée depuis plusieurs mois aux propriétaires sans avoir de réponse de leur part et en n'ayant toujours rien reçu. Je suis déçue par mon séjour.
