This basement rental is located in a neighborhood 3 miles from access to Lake Chic and the TN river (Dayton boat dock). Whether you are coming here to fish, visit the court house (and the Scopes Trial Play in July), competing at Ft. Bluff or visiting Bryan College, this house is conveniently located to each place. The driveway is large enough to handle 3 or 4 trucks pulling boats, and the back deck is huge (includes a gas grill). The kitchen is not a full kitchen, but a sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster and coffee maker are included as well as dishes and utensils.
I live upstairs, I am quiet, and park in front of the house so guests have the full driveway and back deck.
Six will sleep comfortably. No smoking indoors and no pets allowed. With more than six (not related) there are additional fees.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The outside deck area was delightful place to spend time with family. I would definitely stay here again.
A quick stay to visit family. This place worked well for a place to sleep for my siblings and I. Deck was beautiful though we didn’t get much opportunity to use it.
The house was prefect for us. We had small kids and there are even toys , playpen, and other things to help make stay more comfortable. The owner is very nice and helpful. We seen 8 deer on the property one morning . Beautiful area. Have stayed twice and will stay again
This is an awesome little place very well appointed woth a 70s vibe and a beautifully view. The owner had left suggestions about places to eat and attractions to see. Bathroom was fully stocked even new toothbrush. The kitchen also coffee, sweetner hot tea and more .
We only got to stay one night (just passing through) but our experience was wonderful. The bedrooms were very roomy, and the beds were comfortable. My youngest liked there were some toys to play with, and the bookshelf was well stocked (sadly, we didn't have time to read any books). There were also plenty of DVDs throughout the property. The back deck was large, and it was a wonderful place to sit and look at the stars. This property wasn't fancy, but it was clean, and had everything a person, group or family would need to spend a few days exploring Dalton TN (for a town I had never heard of, it's very cute with lots to explore).Pat was a wonderful host, and answered questions quickly, and gave us lots of options for food (we ended up at 1st Ave Pizza). My only complaint is that the couch wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but that's a minor thing really.
The stay was great. Nice and quiet. We sat out on the porch and watched the deer. Beautiful area. Communication with host was easy and great. Definitely recommend and hope to be staying again
