Very charming old house restored with taste and authenticity, it has 2 flowered parish gardens surrounding an old-style pool type pool with resting beaches and swimming against the current, an independent bedroom on the ground floor (not air-conditioned) because very cool in summer) with its bathroom. Another upstairs bedroom, air conditioned, with its library lounge as an extra bedroom and its bathroom, shower and bath. The canopy will receive your meals around a large round table and the living room will charm you with its careful decoration and paintings by French and foreign artists. The house has all the equipment necessary for a successful stay. Ideal for 2 single people, 2 couples or 1 couple and 2 children.

Our stay in Gordes was without a doubt one of the best parts of our trip. Our airline rescheduled our flight last minute however the owner was extremely understanding and worked with us to make our check in and stay very special. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Jocelyne who answered all our questions and went over all the details including a large list of local restaurants that were amazing! The home is incredibly beautiful, well-appointed and extremely clean. The pool was a huge plus just outside our door in the beautiful Provencal, garden and we were thankful for the washer, dryer. The location could not be beat! Everything we wanted to explore in the region was 15 minutes to half-an-hour in any direction. This is a special property tucked into a small hamlet of 200 year old farmhouses and just 5 minutes from the heart of Gordes. I thoroughly recommend this property.

A wonderful two weeks !

Absolutely beautiful and decorated with great style. The soft sofa and large bathroom made us very comfortable. The small kitchen was more than enough for our summer suppers.The air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom and dining room was much appreciated, as was the lovely pool. The hamlet is very quiet with nice neighbours and good parking.

Lovely setting in a very quiet hamlet.

The house is in a lovely setting in a very quiet hamlet in an excellent location for visiting all the hilltop villages. It is probably best suited for a couple rather than 3/4 people as the kitchen area is small and the second bedroom accessed by an external door. The lovely pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The house is full of interesting Brocante items and curios and the beds were very comfortable. On arrival we were met by Jocelyne, the housekeeper who explained how the house all worked. Benedicte was also available by phone if we had any problems.

Great location to explore the Luberin

We had a wonderful holiday, the house is beautiful with fabulous decor and very relaxing. The weather was great and the pool was very welcome to cool off. The bed was super comfy and all essentials were provided. Benedicte was very thoughtful host.

Absolutely charming

We had a wonderful stay! The house is absolutely charming and perfectly located. Our host left us several hiking and restaurant recommendations that were all fantastic. The region is stunning and not overrun with tourists, even though we stayed in peek tourist season at the end of July. We loved it and cannot recommend it higher! Thank you for a wonderful stay

A perfect stay

Simply put, we hated to leave. On our arrival, Bénédicte was helpful, welcoming and informative. As frequent VRBO renters, we could tell that she had anticipated everything needed to make her guests' stays a great success. Beyond that, the house is charming, very comfortable, and fully functional. We felt at home right away. The setting is spectacular, and the locale full of interesting things to see and do.

Beautiful house and décor in a great location.

Lovely house and décor, very clean, lovely pool and in a great location. There were pre-existing issues with the plumbing and sanitary ware which were resolved very quickly, but there still remains an issue with a very temperamental toilet flush that needs to be permanently addressed. Some other small niggles would be that the kitchen is very small but workable, but there is no oven as stated on the property details, only a combination microwave/oven. The gas hob has two burners which are only large enough for two small pans which is restrictive. More than one set of keys would be useful, to allow the external annexe guests to gain entry into the house. The annexe bedroom is charming but there is only a curtain separating it from the en-suite bathroom. A door would be better. A change of bed linen is provided which we changed midway through our stay. We washed towels as there were no spares. When we have been to other HomeAway properties a cleaner normally comes in after one week to clean and change linen and towels. We were surprised that this was not the case here. Some detailed instructions of kitchen equipment, the pool, air-con etc would be handy, plus good directions of how to locate the property.

C’est vraiment dommage de ne connaître l’adresse précise qu’une semaine avant le début de notre séjour. Sur l’annonce il est marqué Gordes alors que cela se situe à 4 kilomètres de Gordes , c’est sur la commune de Gordes mais ce n’est pas GORDES. De recevoir un contrat de location moins d’une semaine avant l’arrivée, alors que j’ai payé l’intégralité de la location, je suis obligé d’en accepter tout les termes et de savoir que je suis obligé de faire attention à ma consommation d’électricité, et au final la climatisation ce n’est que 6 heures par jour et dans une seule pièce et le lave-vaisselle c’est 1fois / jour et tout les 2 jours et pour qu’au final je dois partir 4 jours avant la fin de la location pour ne pas dépasser la consommation d’électricité dites TOUT À FAIT CONFORTABLE , et bien non madame ce n’est pas CONFORTABLE. C’est facile de faire des économies avec mon argent, par contre pour palper mon argent vous n’avez aucun problème avec. Mais heureusement que vous ne faites fonctionner le système de filtration de la piscine que 1 heure 30 minutes par jour autrement j’aurais exploser le forfait !!! Mais Madame le meilleur est à venir, si l’eau de la piscine est VERTE c’est que les bactéries et germes prolifèrent . Vous me dites qu’il n’y a rien à craindre, par contre vous ne m’avez pas montré en vous baignant que tout était sans risque , et soi-disant vous avez travaillé dans le médical ???? Pour filtrer une piscine avec une eau à 24 Degrés la filtration est de 12 h

Très belle maison, décorée avec goût dans un charmant hameau non loin de Gordes et Roussillon. Séjour conforme à nos attentes malgré une piscine un peu fraiche pour la saison dû à un nettoyage en profondeur avant notre arrivée :)Ce point n'a en rien gâché l'ensemble de notre expérience, et notre ressenti général est très positif. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Wir durften im Juli diesen Jahres 2 wunderschöne Wochen zu viert in Benedicts Haus verbringen. Das Haus, der Hof mit Pool sind traumhaft schön, alles mit sehr viel Liebe, Charme und Authentizität eingerichtet und gestaltet. Einziger Negativpunkt, wenn man überhaupt davon reden kann, ist der Elektroherd mit zwei Kochplatten, aber wenn man nicht gerade ein 5-Gang-Menü kochen möchte, ansonsten völlig ausreichend. Das Haus selbst liegt in einem kleinen Weiler unterhalb von Gordes und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Provence zu entdecken. Insgesamt waren wir rundum begeistert und werden mit Sicherheit zurückkehren.

sehr schönes Haus mit viel Ambiente

Es war sehr ruhig und vor allem sehr sauber in dem schönen Haus, das ganz toll eingerichtet ist. Auch wenn das Wetter mal nicht so toll ist, kann man in dem kleinen Wintergarten sehr gut verweilen.
