The boat shack evolved from an old wooden fishing boat and has been thoughtfully converted .
It started out as a crazy idea and turned into a lovely project creating an unusual holiday stay ,it’s not often you get the chance to sleep on a boat without stepping on water !
It has been well insulated to give protection from the summer heat along with the ceiling fan and free standing appliances you should be comfortable.
Your bedroom is in the boat part and has a king size bed .
The cabin part of this property houses a functional and well decorated kitchen and lounge area .
There is a large walk in shower and bathroom also tastefully furnished .
You will live amongst luscious olive groves and ancient vineyards and the time of day can be marked by the passing of the goats and distant tinkle of their bells .
Here you have spectacular views over the Aegean Sea and when the weather conditions are good you can see 9 other islands .
You are not overlooked ,it is quiet and peaceful offering the ideal environment for you to enjoy your holiday .
Your nearest beach is some 4 mins away by car, Aliki a picturesque fishing port with a sandy beach and cafes and restaurants ,in fact from here you are ideally placed to see all the island has to offer the visitor and at the end of a hard day relaxing on the beach ! or sightseeing you can come home and enjoy again the peace and quiet and watch the sun go down in front of you with a glass of wine or ouzo .
Your accommodation for 2 people we hope has everything you need for a simple yet stylish stay with good quality bedding and towels .
We are solar powered but you still have all the necessary like a toaster ,fridge and fans to keep you cool PLUS a De longhi Nespresso machine for the coffee lovers .
A private garden space and a decked area with a small table and chairs for two ,there are also deck chairs for outside lounging

What a beautiful place

Quiet up in the hills, with a beautiful view on Antiparos. Pauline and Martin are two lovely people, always helping when needed.

What a view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique setting. If you’re looking for complete peace and quite with a view to die for, then book this place immediately. Pauline and Martin were very helpful. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. You’ll need a car to get to it.

Quiet and alone place with lovely view

The ones looking for a quiet place may be very attracted to this one. Take the last kilometer or so on the rougher road to reach the selfmade boat-house. Has all you need, nice berth/bed good ventilation possibilities, small bathroom and small kitchen. Was somewhat windy in our time, since it is on the hill. Lovely view towards Antiparos with the sunset visible from the terrace. Friendly owners with tips for the island, restaurants etc.

A wondeful place

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Paros in September. The boathouse that we had chosen for lodging, largely contributed to our satisfaction. We appreciated its location on the hills, away from the tourist bustle, in a beautiful environment with a magnificent view of the neighboring islands .. and the sunsets. The idea of the recycled boat seduced us...we were not disappointed! It's comfortable, functional, elegant, furnished with great taste. We also loved it for the originality, the authenticity.. We liked the friendly welcome from Pauline and Martin. We take this opportunity to express our good memories to them. Eugénie and Patrick

Per chi vuole vedere le stelle, essere isolato al punto giusto, non essere disturbato dai rumori della civiltà ma al tempo stesso essere abbastanza vicino alle comodità per la spesa o le spiagge e vuole fare un'esperienza in questa barca/casalo consiglio

Un très bon séjour

Le "bateau" est un lieu idyllique pour qui recherche la tranquillité, le calme et l'originalité. La vue depuis la terrasse est époustouflante, les couchers de soleil sont un vrai spectacle. Pauline et Martin sont très disponibles et accueillants, et n'hésitent pas à donner de très bonnes adresses (plages, restaurants...)

Séjour agréable

Logement insolite niché sur les hauteurs de Paros avec une très belle vue sur antiparos. Chambre confortable, cuisine bien équipée, tout ce qu’il faut pour séjourner quelques jours. Nos hôtes ont été accueillants et nous ont conseillé des loueurs de Quad, et de très bon resto! Petit plus pour balconi à aliki! Si vous souhaitez séjourner dans le plus grand calme c’est l’endroit idéale! Attention chemin d’accès en terre sur la fin. Merci pour ce séjour!

Un endroit hors du commun!

Que ce soit par son histoire ou son esthétique, ce logement atypique nous a séduit! Vue imprenable sur les montagnes et la mer, communication parfaite avec Martin et Pauline. Nous sommes partis un peu tôt dans la saison donc tout n'était pas encore ouvert et les soirées étaient fraîches mais nous avons passé un très bon séjour!

Un endroit merveilleux

Ces quelques jours passés dans la maison bateau ont été parfaits! Pauline était présente si nous avions besoin mais tout en étant très discrète. La maison est un endroit magique, calme avec une vue incroyable. Tout le confort est au rendez-vous avec ce charme en plus, presque aventureux, d’un hébergement pas comme les autres. Prenez la mer en haut de la colline sans hésitation !

Gite original situé dans un cadre exceptionnel pour la vue et le calme

Excellent accueil. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles. Gîte très bien aménagé. Expérience nature Avec une voiture, il est facile de rejoindre la belle plage proche de Voutakos et Aliki et ses restaurants qui donnent directement sur la mer.

Gestrandet auf Paros

Das Boot ist sehr schön mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zur Kunst eingerichtet, u.a. haben mir die vielen Bilder an den Wänden sehr gut gefallen. Wahnsinnig gemütlich fand ich auch das kuschelige Schlafzimmer mit verschließbaren Bullaugen. Im Liegestuhl auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Tal lassen sich die Stunden in aller Ruhe genießen. Martin und Pauline sind sehr herzlich und haben sich nach einem nächtlichen Gewitter sofort bei mir erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Sie sind bei Fragen oder Problemen jederzeit ansprechbar. Da am Tag des Check outs keine neuen Gäste kamen, durfte ich erst nachmittags abreisen. Man muss sich darüber im klaren sein, dass man nahe an der Natur wohnt und sich die ein oder anderen Insekten ins Innere verirren können.

Vue fabuleuse et calme total pour une retraite proche de tout.

Ma femme et moi avons passé 5 jours à Paros en septembre 2020 a l’occasion d’un mariage; nous souhaitions être indépendants, profiter des Plages et restaurants de l’île. Ce fut un succès, les allées et venues depuis la petite maison-bateau sont très faciles; la maison-bateau est Très bien concue, parfaitement équipée avec un côté écologique sympathique (l’électricité est fournie par un panneau photovoltaïque); Martin et Pauline sont très sympathique et disponibles s’il y a des questions ( en l’occurrence la femme avait besoin d’un sèche-cheveux et Pauline lui en a prêté un!); bouteilles d’eau au frigidaire et une bouteille de vin nous attendaient à l’arrivée. Comme il n’y avait pas d’arrivée prévue le jour de notre départ, nous avons pu rester jusqu’à la dernier minutes et revenir nous doucher avant notre vol, ce qui était super! Une très belle expérience!

Come to the Boathouse and find peace

Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Boot auf dem Berg.Wer etwas Außergewöhnliches sucht findet es hier. Das Boothaus ist etwas Besonderes..Martin hat mit seiner Idee etwas Unglaubliches geschaffen. Es ist eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft für 2 Personen,an jede Kleinigkeit wurde gedacht und alles hochwertig eingerichtet und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Das Bett ist unglaublich bequem,die Bettwäsche und Handtücher hochwertig . Es gibt eine große gemauerte Dusche und Designerwaschbecken. Die Sauberkeit ist excellent!Es gab genügend Handtücher und frische wurden auch gebracht. Pauline wollte sogar nach 4 Tagen die Bettwäsche wechseln was für uns nicht nötig war.Herrlich ist der Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse und die absolute Ruhe. Und doch ist man in 7 Minuten vom Berg auf der Hauptstraße und danach in 6 Minuten in Aliki.Die Vermieter wohnen auch auf dem Grundstück,aber ein Stück entfernt und man genießt absolute Privatsphäre . Die Vermieter sind herzliche und inspirierende Menschen. Wir haben jede Minute genossen!!!

seul au monde avec une vue époustouflante

La propriété est exactement conforme avec la présentation. Dans la montagne avec une vue époustouflante, mais seulement à 4 Km d'ALilki et des plages du sud. Un moyen de transport est toutefois indispensable (pour ma part un scooter 125 largement suffisant). Merci à Martin et Pauline pour l’accueil. Je recommande cet endroit magnifique sans restriction.
