We booked The Byre very last minute for a jousting experience we were doing.
We booked The Byre very last minute for a jousting experience we were doing. The weather was awful the weekend we were there. Torrential rain for 3 solid days. The Byre was warm and cosy and inviting to come back to after a day out in the wet! Beds were comfortable, although twin not a double. Because of Covid we brought all our own food and self catered and the kitchen has everything you could need. Most importantly the cottage was immaculately clean. Every Covid precaution had been taken and we felt safe. The hosts were lovely letting us check out late, but gave us our privacy. If we are in the area again would certainly stay here again.

Lovely well equipped cottage located in the owners beautiful grounds, clean and comfortable with stunning views over the corn field behind. The local pub just 200 yards up the road, very welcoming, fab food and excellent COVID safety procedures in place. Stratford-upon-Avon only 6 miles away, such a pretty and historic area, would definitely recommend, we had a wonderful time here , restful, but plenty to see

Beautiful cottage with really friendly owners, we couldn't have asked for more.
Beautiful cottage with really friendly owners, we couldn't have asked for more. The local shop is just down the road and the pub is close enough to roll home from after some great food and drinks served by friendly staff. The location is great for both 15 minute drives to great attractions and even if you feel like excursions that are a little further out it's still only about an half an hour to an hour for lots more options. Thanks Wendy and Ian for a lovely holiday.

Had a brilliant week at The Byre, it's lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings and magnificent views across open countryside (the picture doesn't do it justice). It's clean and comfortable and easily big enough for two. The owners are very friendly, happy to chat if you want to but not pushy, and they've gone out of their way to ensure you have everything you need for your stay. It's well positioned for exploring the area. Stratford upon Avon is a 10 minute drive and there are plenty of pretty Cotswold villages nearby. There's a very decent pub just 100 yds from the door but the nearest shops and bus stop would be in Bidford, a short drive away. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the area.
