The location was absolutely beautiful!! Views breathtaking! It was quiet and off the beaten path but with all the amenities needed to be comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

A great location so close to the ferry terminal. A beautiful view from the front windows of the water and the grazing sheep. The house was spotless and well organized. Kyle, our host was very easy to communicate with. He gave very detailed instructions and responded quickly to any questions. The location is also right beside an inn which makes it easy to grab a quick bite if you don't want to cook. Highly recommend!

Living room was large with french foors leading to the patio and comfortable. Bathroom and shower room were adequate but cold,as there was no heating in them. The kitchen was wonderful and stocked with everything we needed. Kyle was the perfect host and answered any issues we had.. you will have a wonderful time . I highly recommend it

Very comfortable and spacious property with amazing views. Great kitchen with range cooker and dining table for 6 people plus a high chair. 2 bedrooms with Kingsize beds, and a room with bunk beds. Large lounge room with 2 sofas and tv with all the catch-up channels and streaming services. There is one bathroom and one shower room. The utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer was very helpful after a long trip doing the NC500. We were there during a storm so we had one day exploring the beautiful island-we loved the Dunvegan area-and one day enjoying the home comforts of the property.

Really nice, large but cozy home with a fantastic view. Big kitchen. Host is very helpful when he's needed. There's a restaurant/pub in walking distance, too. We loved our stay!

We enjoyed the beautiful view very much. The cottage is spacious. It was almost dark when we arrived, but the directions were specific so that was helpful. You will fair better if you have a car as the local convenience store closes by 7:00 but there is a lovely community called Broadford about 20 min away with restaurants and coffee shops and a CO OP grocery store. The area around Sleat is stunning and we enjoyed a visit at Armadale Castle just two minutes drive from the cottage. Take your own wash cloths, they're not a thing in Scotland and if you prefer a dish cloth to a sponge, purchase one along with some paper towel. The master bedroom of the cottage had a lovely view. The cottage was a bit stale smelling when we arrived but we couldn't open any windows that evening as none of the windows have screens and the mosquitoes were crazy still, even in September. All in all, if you're not worried about cleanliness, it's good value for your money. Quite a peaceful spot.

Regarding your comments around cleanliness I'd like to explain firstly that this was not raised with us at any point meaning we had no way of making this right for you. Further, our cleaner works very hard between visitors stays to ensure the place is fresh and pleasant for new guests arriving. We usually score very highly for cleanliness across booking platforms. You mention that you arrived at night but couldn't open the windows as there were no screens and there were lots of mosquitos (I assume you mean midges as we don't get mosquitos in Scotland). Midges are only active for a few hours in the evening so windows can be open at night and during the day, and only during the warmer summer months, the need for screens is therefore not something people have in Scotland. Again, thank you for your feedback, hopefully this reply will help future guests. Best wishes Kyle

Lovely stay in a very beautiful place

The view, the yard, and the home interior were all gorgeous. It felt very much like a home, and we settled right in. The coal heating was a bit of an adjustment but my middle son.and I had fun figuring it out with the provided videos. Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous stay

We had a superb stay at Drumgarry at Easter. House is so comfortable and cosy and we are hoping to return next year. Great location for walking and ideal for an evening stroll to the nearby pub. Kyle was great at answering any questions we had prior to our stay.

Wonderful Stay

Home is a bit off the beaten path but wonderful accommodations and location. Very roomy with large kitchen and front sitting room. Views of the Atlantic were as promised and there were flowers everywhere. There is a wonderful local pub and hotel restaurant only a very short stroll away

Nice place. Spacious. Host was great. Lock is tricky on front door and we couldn’t get the dryer to dry clothes but it had a nice laundry room. Plenty of seating areas too.

Ardvasar is amazing!

Wow! What an awesome house with all the amenities. Kyle was a perfect host with great recommendations. We had a wonderful time exploring Skye from the home base of Drumgarry. Views from the house are breathtaking! Was sad to leave & hope to return. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay!

We had a great time! It's quite a drive from most of the main/touristy spots on Isle of Skye, but its a beautiful drive. We were also a little intimidated by the coal fire heating system, but it actually made it a very cozy experience. Kyle was very communicative and helpful.

A lovely house with a stunning sea view

We enjoyed our stay in Drumgarry a lot. The terrace and the living room windows provide a great sea view. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was clean and in good shape. Good to also spend a rainy day in house - though I have heard that this rarely happens on Skye ;-) .

Quiet and Scenic

This house has ample space for a family or group of 6. Full sized kitchen and laundry room are a plus for a group. Both baths are separated from the bedrooms, only one shower and one tub. Heating and hot water are a challenge to operate

Beautiful place, amazing location

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and we absolutely loved the place. It was spacious, had wonderful amenities and it was a great base to see the sights of Isle of Skye. And if it's a clear night (somewhat rare), be sure and go outside and do some star gazing because the sky was spectacular! Kyle communicated with us right from the start and was super accommodating. Next time we're out this way, we'll stay here again, only longer.
