We had a wonderful week at the Isle of Skye and in the Cottage. We found everything very clean and well equipped. The view from the Winter garden is amazing and everything is very cozy and lovingly furnished. Many thanks again for the great Welcome. We would love to come back.

Thoughts on cottage
Wonderful shoreline scenery-walks etc.-but small things with house e.g. lack of a dryer for clothes, need for blinds on downstairs windows, detracted from overall perfect location. Otherwise, fine.

Just a fantastic place to stay! I felt relaxed from the moment I walked into the beautiful conservatory and saw the views of the water and the hills. There are chairs to relax in and enjoy the view and the dining table is there too, making meal time extra special. The rest of the house was super too, my daughters loved their bedrooms, I enjoyed a few hot soaks in the big standalone bath after a busy day. The kitchen was well equipped as was the whole house. After a tough few lockdown months, this was the perfect escape. There is a local Coop just up the road and also takeaways for fish n chips, pizza or Chinese (Kyle in Lochalsh was fab). There are also restaurants nearby which are now opening up too. A great place to stay !

Very pleasant converted cottage, with fantastic views over the bay to the mainland and islands.
Very pleasant converted cottage, with fantastic views over the bay to the mainland and islands. However the heating system was just about adequate in October, would require a more robust heating system for any Winter stays.
One small problem on arrival at the property, in that there was a problem with one if the Electrical Circuits. This was dealt with promptly and effectively by the Owner and Caretaker within 15 minutes of making them aware.
An excellent location for touring the Isle of Skye and accessing the Western Highlands.
