About this property
Penmon View, Moelfre, Anglesey. With sea and mountain views.
The bungalow is situated in the quaint fishing village of Moelfre, within a 4 minutes walk to the shingle beach, where local fishermen keep their boats. The beach is overlooked by the pet friendly Pub, The Kinmel Arms, Ann's Pantry and the Icecream Parlour. There is also a seaside gift shop, and an acclaimed fish and chip shop. Close by is the Seawatch Centre and the working Lifeboat Station, which is situated on the Anglesey Coastal Path and well worth a visit. The coastal path is also a 5 minute walk from the bungalow for dog walkers.
Moelfre is a picturesque Maritime Village which has plenty of history due to nearby ship wrecks and the courageous work of the Lifeboat crews. Less than 5 minutes drive is the golden sandy beach at Lligwy which is ideal to spend those long hot summer days with the kids in one direction, and 5 minutes in the other direction is Benllech with 3 supermarkets a few takeaways and restaurants. There is also a lovely sandy beach there with 2 cafe's on the beach. Moelfre is suited to family holidays with so many nearby attractions, The Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Nature World, Rib Rides down the Menai and Plas Newydd to mention just a few.
The bungalow has ample parking space for 2 cars on the drive. This beautifully appointed spacious 2 bedroom bungalow has views from the lounge and kitchen of the sea and the Snowdon mountains beyond. The well equipped open plan kitchen diner, has a modern fitted kitchen with a microwave, Tassimo Coffee machine, slow cooker and all the appliances you would expect. The new dinning table seats 4. The laundry room which is off the kitchen has a washing machine, tumble drier and dish washer. The lounge contains 2 leather sofas to relax on, a fireplace constructed out of Moelfre stone, which was quarried locally. we have also added to this an electric log burner.
The master bedroom ( The Puffin Room ) has a double bed, dressing table, mirror and wardrobe and ample draws for storage. We supply towels and bedding.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds a wardrobe and ample drawers for storage. The bathroom which has been newly fitted, has a bath, electric shower, heated towel rail, and is dressed in a nautical theme. The bungalow has a newly installed electric heating system.
The garden benefits from having an open aspect giving it the maximum amount of sun, which is enhanced by having a seating area with BBQ and a separate eating area.
The bungalow has free wifi, a DVD player, a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, (the user just needs to log in to their accounts). We have amended the check in time to 3 pm and check out time will stay the same 10am on the day of departure.

Lovely bungalow, easy checking in , nicely furnished , immaculate inside, seaside decoration loved all the puffins, ducks etc, (my granddaughter says it’s very beachy , she loved it.)lots of pots, pans, knives and forks, We liked Moelfre a lot ,visited life boat station there. Enjoyed the welcome pack too.there were also alot of dvds , books and games , we didn’t use them mainly because we had very good weather and weren’t in much but if we’d have had bad weather certainly would have used them.

We had a lovely stay in this quiet, warm and homely bungalow. Ideal for a family of three or four, with great walks from the doorstep and a perfect base for exploring Anglesey. A good local pub is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We’d return.

Penmon View was a good sized place to stay, clean and well equipped.
Moelfre was a quiet coastal village, but enjoyable to stay at, from walking along the coastal path and watching the local wildlife. Dog friendly pub and restaurant had good food on offer.
Found it easy to get to other places around Anglesey.
