Located on over 100 wooded acres and surrounded by forest you'll enjoy quiet relaxation yet you'll be within 10-30 miles of area attractions. Area attractions include 6 nearby golf courses, snow skiing at Beech, Sugar, or Hawksnest Ski Resorts, antique and craft markets, fishing, hiking, gem mining, horseback riding, rodeos and more. Banner Elk, Boone, Linville Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Penland School, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock are each no more than 30 miles, some much closer. For a special afternoon visit the Asheville / Black Mountain area and Biltmore Estate. The 8' wide wrap-around porch is a nice place to relax or make use of the gas grill. The place was a nice rustic cabin. It was just myself and my wife this trip so it was great for us. The only thing I would suggest is possibly a step to help get in and out of the tub.

House was in a beautiful location. Host was prompt answering any questions. Check in was easy. Enjoyed seeing deer every day in the yard. Would prefer a sofa bed downstairs and tv. TV is in the upstairs loft. Only a rocking chair and bed in the loft with the tv. Most cabinets/dresser had something in the drawers so hard to place your things. All in all we had a lovely week exploring the area and scenic views. Just didn't feel relaxed at the house with the current furniture.

Deer were a constant.
Fireplace was nice. We brought our own wood. None on site.

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!We had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin in the mountains! My boyfriend, our dog Bruno, and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful retreat. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Perfect place to clear your mind

Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!

Nice little cabin.

The house was nice and cosy. It had a futon downstairs and a bed in the loft area. The loft had a smart tv that we just plugged our firestick into to watch movies.

Just a weekend getaway. The cabin was very nice and clean, made it perfect for the weekend I was there. It wasn't too far away from town and local sight's and attractions just All in All a perfect spot to get away from it all.

Great quality cabin

My husband and I stayed here for our 24th Anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. We loved the cabin, which had everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed exploring the property such a beautiful place. The location was just perfect for visiting other locations we wanted to visit and we would definitely stay here again.

The property was not a private stay. The windows did not have certain or blinds in the common areas or bedroom. The grass around the property was not cut and it look like a forest. Cleaners gloves was left on the side porch. Washing machine was out of order.

Amazing

This property is amazing. You are away from everything. Its super quite and beautiful. We loved staying in this truly postcard like oasis. This property is still close enough to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway and close enough to stores. We loved our stay !
