We planned a girls trip for July 4th weekend and needed a mountain getaway to refresh our mountain-loving souls! This was the perfect cabin for us, it was very clean and cozy. The location was great. And Tamara was an awesome host, and communicated so well. We are so thankful for this opportunity to stay here! We recommend this cabin for anyone who finds their peace in the mountains!
We enjoyed the serene location; particularly enjoyed the decks and porch. A very comfortable home with air conditioning available. Close to many areas of interest for us. Host was very accessible and helpful. A very nice, quiet location and we all enjoyed it immensely including the dogs.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm delighted to hear that you found the property beautiful and cozy, and that it was a perfect fit for your pets. It's great to know that you enjoyed the nearby activities as well.
We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful stay!
Home was in great condition. Bed was very comfortable. Fire pit on the back porch was amazing. I thought the hospitality could be better, there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in the upstairs bathroom. I believe someone found some all in one products in the downstairs bathroom. Not super important but was just expecting general supplies. They have a washer and dryer but you'll need to bring your own detergent as well. Not crazy but would have been a nice way to go above and beyond to accommodate guests given the price point. Wifi/internet is pretty much nonexistent but it's the mountains. The master bedroom door didn't close as well. I had to manually pull/hold the bottom bottom left corner in to be able to close the door every time since it bulged out and stopped it from closing. Very inconvenient/annoying. Overall though, very safe, cozy and a great time. Just expected a little bit more for the price range. We were also celebrating a birthday and mentioned that before so a nice welcome not with that could have been cool. Overall amazing time but just some ways to go above and beyond to provide great hospitality/make guests feel more welcome.
We didn’t stay. We were only in the house long an hour and half. The water pressure was a trickle in the home. The house had an unusual odor as well. One of my friends was cut by an old metal plate on the outside of the door. We could not have showered or used the facilities. I issued a complaint with VRBO and my credit card.

This review is entirely misleading and does not reflect the true condition of our property or the events that took place. The home was personally inspected one day before arrival, with photos and videos verifying that it was clean, odor-free, and that all systems — including water pressure — were functioning normally. The property operates on a private well system, which can experience minor, temporary fluctuations but was fully operational before and after this guest’s visit.
Upon arrival, the guest immediately demanded early access, refused to pay the optional early check-in fee, and attempted to move communication off the Vrbo platform — a direct violation of Vrbo’s safety policies. Within an hour of entering the home, she reported “no water pressure,” yet her own photos show running water. She refused to provide the required short video for maintenance verification and chose to leave voluntarily.
After departing, the guest’s party caused damage to the property by striking the front porch railing with their vehicle and engaged in inappropriate behavior captured on exterior cameras, including obscene gestures. All of this has been fully documented and shared with Vrbo’s Trust & Safety team, along with inspection proof confirming the home was safe and habitable.
We take our hosting responsibilities very seriously and always respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns. Based on the evidence, we would never host this individual again and have requested that Vrbo re
We loved our stay at this cabin. The area is beautiful and there were just enough things to do to keep us busy when we ventured out. The property came as advertised and was clean and everything worked as you’d expect. Would recommend!

First and foremost I would say the property is exactly as pictured, nicely updated, and was very clean. The property is VERY close to the Pisgah Forest and Linville Falls is just a short hop down the road. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had a trouble getting in the hous I, instructions were confusing telling two different stories.spot for lock box was incorrect and had a wrong code Unit was clean inside and well decorated We had trouble with tv and finally was able to get Netflix The 2 queen beds were not good they appeared old and sunken towards middle very uncomfortable!,heating and fireplace excellent. Lastly we only saw cleaning instructions at last minute and thought they might have been more visible
This place was perfect for me and my husband. It was a great location. This was so close to a lot of trails and activities. It was clean and everything was wonderful. The poperty was down a gravel path, so we had to take it slow in our car, but had no problems. We will stay here again!!

The cabin was perfect. Newly decorated. Very clean. All the amenities a family would need. Equipped with pots, pans, dishes, everything if the family wanted to cook.
