We had such a wonderful vacation! The cabin was close to all the activities we wanted (snow tubing, alpine coaster, ice skating, caverns and so many trails and beautiful mountain tops). Our boys were cozy in the bunk beds and the cabin was just what we needed for family time. (Even had a few board games for us to enjoy and plenty of books to snuggle up with) Our host provided such amazing hospitality and communication through out the entire trip with wonderful suggestions for extra activities and delicious restaurants in the area.
The cabin was perfect. Clean lots of supplies to make your stay comfy. Just make ALL activities reservations way ahead. If you dont you will be left wondering what to do like us
We loved our stay here over the holiday. The place was very clean and had everything our family of four needed. Also had a nice fenced in yard for our dog and the community was great to walk around. Convenient to Linville Falls and Blowing Rock.
We had a great time here. The size was perfect for our family of four. Close to Sugar mountain and truly enjoyed the Pinoela across the street. We look forward to staying again.

Thanks for the kind words Kelly! Glad you enjoyed your stay.
This was my first time traveling with my dog, and I have to say I was excited to see how the house was laid out. I really enjoyed myself and will be back. The owner was really nice and responded to messages quickly. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Family and dog stayed for weekend of skiing at Sugar Mountain. Convenient, comfortable and clean with everything needed to have a great family weekend. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
This was the perfect set up for our family of 3. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed!! Ian was quick to respond to a few questions we had and was very accommodating. Great location, close to slopes and snow tubing. We will definitely be back!
The house was amazing. Close to Beech, Banner Elk, Linville , Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock. Everything you need is at the house with plenty to do nearby. But what makes the stay great is the owners. They were amazing to work with working through all the issues from the storm and were amazingly flexible and did all they could to make sure our trip was still able to happen. 10 stars if I could give that many
I cannot say enough good things about the owner and this property. Ian was always quick to respond to messages and was super helpful. The property was excellent for my wife and myself. The entire property was very clean and the kitchen had everything needed. The beds were comfortable, the living room was comfortable and the parking was excellent for two vehicles. We spent most of our time on the front porch and back deck enjoying the great weather. We have already booked a return trip to this property!
We were in NC for a family wedding, held on-site at Linville Land Harbor. This house was conveniently close to our family's home & everything else. Since it was my husband, myself & our 2 dogs, it was just the right size!! I think the fenced in backyard was the decision maker for us, but our fur babies enjoyed the most!!! We will definitely stay there again next time we travel to visit our NC family from Upstate SC.
Ian had great communication with us! We ran in to a few snags. When we arrived at the house- the heat was not on- it was 28 degrees outside, so it was cold. After a few emails back to Ian, he figured out the people before us turned off all of the heat, but in my opinion the cleaning crew should have turned it on because it took a few hours to get warm!! But we were not going to let this stop us from having fun!! We set up the Christmas tree and I appreciated the cute Christmas decorations that were around the house! Once we figured out how to turn on the gas logs and heater… we were warm! Ian did check to make sure we were warm too! The house is absolutely cute and has everything you need! We had the perfect Christmas holiday at the house. One thing we did not know was the office and washing machine are located downstairs and not connected to the upstairs house. Also, we found out a few days before that a tree fell on the deck. That was not a problem for us because we knew we were coming up after several months from the hurricane. What we were not expecting was the crew to be working on the deck while we were there ( honestly, I would not have cared if they were working on it because I understand they need to get it done) but when my dog has to go outside in the back yard and there are tons of nails and saw dust left in the back yard, it is not safe.Overall, this is a great place to stay, Ian has great communication, and we got over the snags! We would definitely stay agai
My wife and I along with our dogs stayed here for several days and had a great time. It's so close to many different hiking areas, so you never have to drive too far.
The house was stocked very nicely and had anything we needed for the week. The backyard deck was awesome! And having a fenced in area attached to it was perfect for morning coffee with our dogs.
The host was great and always answered very quickly the one time we needed his help. We would definitely stay here again!
