Stunning 4 bed 4 bath chalet with hot tub on Grand Massif ski area.

This 4 bed chalet with hot tub and sauna, set among the mountains, has been renovated to the highest of standards. It is perfect for skiing in the winter ( ten minutes by car or ski bus to the Grand Massif Express ski lift) The ski bus stops outside the chalet next to the chapel. There are nursery slopes in the village open when conditions allow. They are usually open from Christmas to end of February. When conditions are good it is possible to ski back down the 14km Cascades run and take the drag back to the village.Three double rooms (one can be made up as a twin) all have en-suite shower or bathrooms and there is a generous family shower room adjacent to the 4 bedded bunk room.
The property is in the heart of a traditional farming village dominated by the Rochers des Fiz which has 5 restaurants ( one less than 5 minutes walk), an outside bar and a supermarket and boulangerie. In the summer months there are 5 mountain refuges that circle the house where you can hike for a delicious mountain lunch. Samöens, a buzzing town is only 10 minutes away with a pool complex open in the summer and a wonderful lake where swimming is permitted.
The large kitchen has a double oven, induction hob and fridge freezer. There is a fondue and raclette machine. The dinning table seats 10 and there is a log burning stove in front of the comfy sitting area. The utility room has a washer/dryer and additional fridge and freezer space.


The property is surrounded by patios so dining outdoors in the summer is perfect. The large decked area incorporates a spacious hot tub for 8 people and in summer a sunny sitting area. The rear patio has a bbq ( summer only) sauna and dining table for 10 with wonderful views to the mountains. There is parking for two cars on site and there is plenty of additional parking 2 minutes away on foot. We recommend having a car.

The property is self catered but there are a number of independent local caterers who will provide a catering service and there are excellent options for home delivery or the pick up of freshly prepared local specialities prepared and ready to heat.

The property is within 10 minutes drive of the Grand Massif express lift which is also open in the summer for high level walking or mountain biking and the incredible Cirque Fer A Cheval ( Grand Site de France) which is a must to visit at any time of the year. There are are many amazing walks directly from the property.
The property has two travel cots and two high chairs. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs.We ask for an additional fee of £25 paid locally to erect a travel cot and assemble the high chair.
The property has toilet paper ( two rolls per toilet), a combined body wash/shampoo, hand wash, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, bin bags, salt and pepper and basic spices and a fondue gel.
