Large charming chalet in samoens, private pool, 3 mns from Grand Massif ski lif

Our Chalet is built in traditional Savoyard style with a breathtaking and one of a kind view on the Criou moutain. Located in the municipality of Samoens in the hamlet of Etelley the chalet is in a quiet place 2 km from the centers of Samoens and of Morillon.
Marvel Chalet (Marvel is the name of the green slope on which all the locals learn to ski ) includes 5 bedrooms and a mezzanine that can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people .
It includes 1 bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom, 1 double bedroom sharing a bathroom with another bedroom with 2 beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with 4 beds (1 single bed, 2 bunk beds and 1 extra bed) with an ensuite bathroom and a mezzanine with two single beds. All rooms are spacious with large closets.
The dining room’s table is expandable and big enough to allow for 14 person to enjoy a meal. The chalet has a large fully equipped kitchen open on a spacious living room. Being roomy and very light, the living room offers beautiful volumes with a height of 5 m under ceiling. The Chalet is nicely decorated in local style and cosy. 3 large balconies allow you to enjoy the view on the surrounding mountains.
The chalet is equipped just like our home: TV, games, DVDs, books, Wi-Fi , IPhone compatible speakers , oven and microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine, barbecue , coffee machines etc .
All linens, including towels and bath sheets in the summer for the pool are provided.
During the winter season, its ideal location near three ski-lifts (Samoëns (1.5 km), Vercland (0.8 km) and Morillon (1.5 km)) provides easy and direct access to Flaine Grand Massif ski area (altitude 800-2220 m, 265 km of slopes) and cross-country ski trails along the river Giffre . A shuttle to the ski lifts has a stop 300 meters from the chalet and allows teenagers to be fully independent. At 200 meters from the chalet, Remy will rent you skis.
In the summer, our private heated and secured swimming pool (8x4m) ,will allow you to enjoy the site and the sun with a view on the mountains . Sunbeds are provided, an outdoor table and a gas barbecue allow for meals in the garden.
The possibilities for wonderful walks or cycling / mountain biking are endless nearby. The access to downhill mountain biking trails is easy with Samoens ski lift. Special bikes for downhill sports or just for normal rides can be rented nearby. Guides and maps are available in the Chalet. Many shelters allow for mountain hikes or varied walks, the wonderful site of Sixt is 10 km from the Chalet, and the Chamonix valley is within 40 minutes’ drive.
Samoens is easily accessible by foot, bike - or cross-country skiing in the winter - following the path along the Giffre River. You will find Tennis courts, three small lakes offering opportunities for swimming or fly fishing, a horse-riding center, a mini golf, a ropes course etc available within 2 km. The arrival spot for paragliders (3 schools) is also nearby as well as the arrival for Giffre descents rafting.
The chalet is equidistant between the two golf courses (18 holes) of Les Gets and Flaine. Shops and restaurants are within 3 minutes by car. Climbing opportunities and a via ferrata are available to you within 10 minutes’ drive. For athletes, the road to the Col de Joux Plane (Tour de France cycling tour) awaits you within 5 km.
At any season in the year a person will be locally available to welcome you and help you during your stay if you feel the need; we are ourselves fully available to ensure you a pleasant stay in this wonderful area.
Rentals are from Sunday to Sunday and can occasionally be arranged from Saturday to Saturday. Rental price includes cleaning and local taxes.
