Accommodation was comfortable, warm and well equipped.
Accommodation was comfortable, warm and well equipped. The path leading to that particular cabin was very steep and would benefit from a handrail particularly for icy conditions. Otherwise it was excellent!

The well situated lodge is run by owners who make every effort to make you welcome.
The well situated lodge is run by owners who make every effort to make you welcome. The welcome pack is generous. But there are text messages to check everything is all right.
The view over the loch was beautiful. The lodge is very well equipped, and the individual heaters warm the place up quickly. The layout of the rooms maximises on the space available. My only negative is the coin-operated metre, which ran out during the night. But that was quickly sorted.
Highly recommended!

Excellent quality holiday cottage.
Excellent quality holiday cottage. The new owners (May 19) have refreshed the lodge and it is of a very high standard. Superbly equipped with everything a family needs, inc cleaning products and great kitchen supplies for cooking as it is relatively remote. Wonderful to also receive a welcome hamper of bread, milk, butter, Scottish treats etc. very thoughtful.
Fantastic views out over Loch Earn, bird watching (Osprey!) or admiring the ever changing weather over the Trossachs.
It's great to have a dog friendly cottage, however the wild bunnies on the lawns did tease the dog!
The owners were great with communication prior to arrival, during and post leaving which was appreciated.

The place is cute in a nice quiet location with beautiful views.
The place is cute in a nice quiet location with beautiful views. The welcome pack is very generous. The only thing that has spoiled our initial good impression was the coin electricity meter, that occasionally produces some noises like ticking and scratching sounds that have awoken us first three or so nights. I would have gladly rated it 10 if not for that meter.
