Management by Aaron is not very good
We made our reservations in August 2017 or even earlier. We were traveling with another couple and specifically asked for the two side by side penthouse units. Days before we left in April 2018, Aaron contacted us to say there was a problem and that our unit had been overbooked. Turns out, supposedly, he booked both of us into the same unit. Odd. He then said there was another 2 bedroom downstairs, then that wasn't available either, then he had a one bedroom on the bottom floor with limited view and still charged us half of the 2 bedroom penthouse rate. Really? But even worse, he really never even offered a decent apology for starting our vacation off on a bad start. Lovely units - not brand new as advertised but newer, quite a hike up to get to the building, but poor management so beware.

Unfortunately there was a mistake on vrbos calendar synchronization and there was a double booking. I let you know before and gave you other options similar to this one and even 100% refund so you could have more options on your own but you refuse to take it. I offered a discount on another unit in the same building and you took it. So again my apologies for the double booking but you were notified with time and had options so that was your decision at the end.
On the other hand I dont reccomend this guest as they left AC on day and night and place very dirty. Thanks

Wonderful condo beautifully decorated, we sat on our balconies every evening to watch fireworks. What can we say such a awsome location for us and with the roof top pool area we had it all . Loved our stay and cant wait till next year.

Great place, fantastic views!
This place was perfect for our vacation. The rooftop pool is stunning and the views are amazing! It is a small 10-15 min hike to get to bars/restaurants and coming back is a pretty steep climb but it is well worth it! We did have an issue with locating the place at first but then after meeting the host it was no problem. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to spend some time in PV!

Amazing rooftop views
We enjoyed our stay in Gringo Gulch!! The unit is all high end furnishings! We stayed in the penthouse, which is one floor below the pool. Amazing views of downtown and the ocean bay! Easy access to condo from the elevator. We felt very safe in the building/unit.
Water pressure was very weak in the showers but with it being a new building I'm sure this will be fixed quickly.
It is a four block walk to the Malecon area. Tons of good places to eat and shop! It is a steep walk with lots of stairs so wear appropriate shoes. To get a taxi you have to walk down a couple blocks toward ocean. Unless you get lucky, they don't come up that high unless they are dropping you off.
Pool is absolutely breathtaking!!!
A/C units work great! My wife wished the condo had a couple throw blankets for that reason.
Overall I would highly recommend this condo! It's location and views are great! It's quiet, yet close to the heart of town. The cathedral church is gorgeous at night!
