Set in the breathtakingly beautiful County of Mayo and on the doorstep of Connemara, there is plenty for everyone to do or one can just rest and contemplate the surroundings. The cottage is well equipped and has a large garden.

August staycation

The location of the property was brilliant. The property itself was fine .The ensuite bathroom shower didnt work. It ran cold despite letting it run for a while so we all had to shower in one bathroom downstairs which meant it took much longer getting ready to venture out each day .Also we had to buy drinking water which we weren't expecting .The water from every tap was brown in colour, there was no explanation left for this though we googled it and it seems it had been a problem in the area for a year .The house was clean enough but I wouldn't rush back.

The amazing natural scenery, proximity to my place of birth, the serene and tranquil ambiance, the luxuriant vegetation in a wild setting and yet close to amenities. Beautiful walks. Very restful.
